I know the Houston Chronicle pays Feigen's salary, but who does he really work for? He's a puff-piece guy.

And if the "seems like he can't / won't be traded" is more of an opinion based on the fact that the percentage of Omer's salary (what's left of this year + next) becomes worse, OR if Feigen believes Morey's b.s. as much as anybody, well, then that's that.

But saying Asik essentially can't be traded? SH*****-Y****. Rudy Gay was traded. TWICE. Gerald Wallace yielded a Top 10 draft pick (another mistake).

It's too bad that Garcia can't be used as trade filler without his consent due to 1-year vet min automatic trade veto power. Really wished Garcia was on the block instead of Asik...

    Where you at, King Drew?

What's your take on Feigen's feeling that Asik won't be moved... and only a smaller deal likely happens?

Reminds me of the TurboZone sig where Anthony Davis blocks shot with his looks. He just looks at the guy, and the pain makes the guy lose the ball.

Too bad it doesn't work like that in real life.

No, you are giving Asik a pass. One of the two has been doing the job he was paid to do, the other hasn't. Asik, as a player, HAS to know that this is simply how the game is played. If he doesn't get it then he will sit himself out of several million dollars - knocked off of his next contract, as his value plummets - while learning that life-lesson.

I don't give ANYONE a pass when they refuse to do the job they are being paid to do. In the real world, people like that get fired - justifiably.

The man deserves no pass on this.

I will gladly take .50 on the dollar in regards to Asik. His value can't come up if he doesn't play.

Sticking with your Asik/Lin for Rondo (and Bass?) prediction?

    Still at 65-70%?

With a third team or Boston is willing to take on the 30M remaining on Asik and Lin's contracts? (even though they'll likely be trade assets at next year's deadline)

I think that Asik will be traded on deadline day. No matter what Morey is saying right now he has got to go. If we could trade Garcia that would be great, the problem there is that he has a no trade clause in his contract. TBH I would be willing to give up Brooks, Brewer, Casspi, Garcia, Smith, Cannan, Covington, Asik to get better talent. Then there are guys like Beverley, Lin, and Jones who I would only trade for a superstar or player that has a much higher ceiling than them. From what I have read all of the following players are on the block: Shumpert, Faried, Hawes, Turner, Lowry, Ariza, Gasol, Neal, Miller, Larry Sanders, Greg Monroe, Rondo, Brooks Lopez, Dion Waiters, Varejao, Eric Gordon, and Jimmer Freddette. Not sure what our roster, foreign players, and picks can net us but adding any of those guys improves our team tremendously. So whatever Morey can pull off will be what is best for the team.
