Umm I didnt say he carried them himself but anyone who thinks he wasnt a big part of us getting to the playoffs is kidding themselves.

James Harden is an all star SG and is under 25 years old, you dont trade him!

We don't need Kevin Love, we need a SG that meshes well with Harden that's better than Bev and cheaper than Lin. I think Jones could be developed as the PF going forward.

People are mentioning Lin & Bev as trade pieces, but they already have Rubio. Is there some reason they'd want more PG's?

Those of you who think trading Parsons is worth it should remember he's a major reason we got Dwight this past summer. Breaking up the chemistry and relationships built through this first half of the season would be a huge step back. Especially for someone as volatile as Dwight, you need him to be happy and play happy.

I think we can trade Parsons, Jones, Asik + 1 future first rounder. If that does not cut it, then trade Parsons for a high first rounder.

Then you play Harden at small forward. We do need some depth after this though....

Not to mention nobody wants Lin. $15 million next year? Lol. Maybe at the trade deadline to shed some salary, but that's not going to be Minny.

Nobody even wants Asik. $15 million, coming off a questionable injury and he refuses to play back up? Minny has Pekovic till 2018.

I don't see how Houston can offer a realistic trade without Harden.

Jones, Parsons, and two 1st rounders is a great start.

Parsons should be excluded from trade scenarios. He is going nowhere.

It depends on what Morey can get for Asik. If he manages to pull a prospect and a pick, which is looking more unlikely at this point, then a deal becomes very manageable in the summer with the following assets in play:

    1) Pick(s) from Asik trade
    2) Terrence Jones
    3) Donatas Motiejunas
    4) Patrick Beverley
    5) Isiah Canaan
    6) Rights to Kostas Papanikolaou
    7) Rights to Sergio Llull
    8) Multiple second round picks from New York and Portland
    9) 2014, 2016, and 2018 1st round picks from Houston

    I think a package would most likely include 1, 2, 5, 7, 8 and 9.

Some of you would trade James Harden? For Kevin Love???

OMG. Some people on this board really need to think before they post preposterous ideas.

    Insanity.

You trade everyone except D12 and Harden. Depth is overrated when you have enough star players to compliment it.

Dwight, Love and Harden? I really don't care that much about whose at the other positions -- that's a very, very good team.

Really? Who would this team build around then? Kevin Love? Harden is an all star for god's sake.

I don't think a lot of people realize that this team is already built around Harden and Dwight.

The 2012-13 Lakers had 4 legit stars. They were supposedly a very, very good team. The rest is history.

I would rather trade Asik for as many good bench players as we can possibly get.

If Love still wants out.... Asik, Lin, DMo/Bev/Canaan, TJ, + 2 1st rounders? I doubt DM breaks up the Harden/Howard/Parsons core.

    Bev, AB, or vet min
    Harden
    Parsons
    Love
    Howard

Parsons absolutely does not get traded.

He said he wants to remain in Houston long term.
    He helped lure in Dwight.
Hes a great player, on both sides of the ball, he does everything well.

Hes not an option. Not now not ever. Harden would be traded over Parsons.

What kind of package does Minnesota even want? It's often a matter of personal preference. Some teams prefer young guys, others experience. Teams could put various degree of emphasis in length, girth, skill, etc.

Unlike Dwight/Kobe, Dwight/Harden actually compliment each other and they're buds on and off the court. PoutyGasol ≠ Love, and none of our PG's are 54 yrs old.
