Is there any way we could trade for Rashard Lewis?

Could this be possible? What could we give up to get him? Would they want Cat, EG, MoT or Rice? We need a small foward in the worst way, maybe more than a PG. What do you all think?

IF we wanted him we should not have turn down Eddie Griffin for Rashard Lewis trade that almost went down last summer.

I imagine if we were really interested in Lewis, he would have been a Rocket last summer. Two important things have happened this past year, that make it unlikely now, Eddie did not develop statistically; they also traded for Ray Allen, thus they have little or no need for Mobley. Even if they liked Mobley (rule: you don't trade a starter for a 6th man, and Eddie would likely be their sixth man, as he would not start over Allen or Barry), they can't cover Lewis absence now that Mason is gone to Milwaukee.

IMHO, it's not gonna happen. There are other people out there that could be attained, for example: SAR, Odom, Brand, Miller, Terry, Big Dog, any of which would make more sense on paper than Seattle desiring to move Lewis for anything that we havel

Lewis would not fit at all and we do not need another head strung in the group.

    Besides Lewis wants $$$$

Lewis would not fit? Why did we try to sign him last summer then?

Besides which other NBA player don't want $$$? Hell which person in the world don't want $$$? You?

Easy, if you bundle up Yao Ming, SF and some cash, you'll get him very fast.

What about SF for Ray Allen.

Allen and Rashard are basically the same player. They get the "point guard" that they want (Brent is really a PG is he), and we get the outside stroke to complement Ming.

    Just a random thought
