Telemundo (47 locally) at 7, ESPN2 decided to overrule the "tape delay" and go "LIVE"... it's a shame that English-Speaking stations NATIONALLY don't give the U.S. enough time... that sux.

I've been meaning to ask this, but does anyone know why Telemundo in Houston went from Channel 48 to Channel 47?

they cut back and passed the savings on to you.

Antenna conflicts. Some bugs were stealing their wavelengths... you had caterpillars receiving the Spanish commentators' "GoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooollllll!" on their antennae... so they decided to go to 47...

But, seriously, folks... there were other cities intruding on the same frequency...

I guess same reason KVC 13 shutdown in Austin.

Those bastards at Univision put up a transmitter between Austin and Killeen for Channel 13. KVC was a lower power independent station with crap programming.

Funny thing is Univision probably asked for Channel 13 on Time Warner Cable to replace KVC but got the big F U and sent to Channel 99.
