that's textbook (insert basketball play here)! "That's textbook fastbreak" "That's textbook pick n roll" "That's textbook defense"
How about this one last night after Bev got a rebound. "he got the rebound, because he goes for rebounds" I don't remember, but he probably did that dumb laugh after he said that.
That one was awesome. From the same game commenting on Isiah Thomas: "He's really starting to play like the real Isiah Thomas... I mean, they're both real..."
(Bev with the steal, dribbles up 3/4ths of the court, draws in two defenders, and passes to Harden for a layup) Da Beard
"That is a point of emphasis. If you drag your pivot foot, it will get called every time". Clyde evidently thinks every rule in the book, including a normal traveling call, is a "point of emphasis."
Something something being aggressive something something good things happen every time Lin has a good game.
the best part of tonight's broadcast was matt bullard telling drex that Parsons was statistically a player that runs the greatest distance in the NBA and Drex refusing to believe him
How about at the end of the game with the Heat inbounding the ball and down by 3. "Miss or make, the Heat will foul." How the hell was this guy ever a Coach at UH? If you hit a 3 to tie the game, why would you foul with almost no time left on the clock?
I'm seriously tired of Clyde. He talks way too much in important games like this, and doesn't say much when we have the Pistons a few nights earlier. His act is getting old.
