I am not even trying to be Lin hater here. Please provide ONE example where Lin was clutch and please god do not use last night. He scored 6 points in the 4th and did nothing to help stop the collapse.

More stupid stat cherry picking to promote our all-star, most consistent and best player Jeremy Lin.

They obviously fouled him on the drive and called it offensive charge. If harden was in that situation, his drives would have been nuked by refs lawful calls also.

Harden iso vs. something from Mchale's playbook...Harden iso wins every time.

Harden is our best player, Lin fans can keep digging though.

Can't help but agree with u. But this implies that mchale is a fool and got no respect from harden.

IIRC, there was no call at all on the play I was referring to. He just threw up an awful shot.

Refs swallow their whistles on Harden also in the final minutes, but he gets better shots.

Isaiah Canaan taking a **** is better than something in McHale's playbook.

If we had a better coach it'd benefit everyone.

Lin fans saying Harden's isn't our best player is silly, but Harden needs to play more defense bottom line and dish more. He'll never be a franchise player without becoming more of a team player.

Harden dishes plenty. He is averaging 5 dimes per game.

How? You can adjust it any way you like. Last 5 minutes, 4 minutes, 3 minutes, 2, 1. I even ran it for not just 5 pt difference, but 3 or 2. Lin comes up on top is all of those. You can provide what stats prove otherwise if you can, then we can talk. Or if youre saying I'm cherry picking the specific stats to post, as in FG%, TO's, etc. I'm pretty confident all of those that I posted are relevant, I even included FTA and % because that's obviously a huge part of Harden's game. So please tell me how I cherry picked anything. Do you want the rebounds and steals in there? personal fouls?

Look, he doesn't get a lot of chances to be clutch because he's not the 1, 2, or even 3d option on this team.

But if you can't remember any examples of Lin making shots in clutch situations, well,....

Just off the top of my head, although it wasn't a win, Lin made 2 3PT shots and had an assist in the last two minutes of the OT against the 76ers.

You can just look 2 games back when Lin hit a bank shot with 48 seconds left to put us up 6 pts, and then hit 2 freethrows to put us up 6 again with 34 seconds left. It's not hard.

There's also the Toronto game where he scored 31 pts, including a 3 with 3:40 left in 1st OT to put us up 2, a lay up with 1:06 left in 1st OT to put us up 3, a jumpshot with 4:24 left in the 2nd OT to put us up 2, and then finally another jumpshot with 33 seconds left to put us up 4.

Those are just two games off the top of my head.

Harden is a much better closer. But the coach should work out some second options when Harden's ISO is not working

That WOULD tip the comparison in favor of Harden, by God I did cherry pick the stats!

So your example of Lin being clutch on a Rockets board is to beg for him to be traded to another team? Will you and all your friends promise to leave if that happens?
