Definitely the most overrated "star" in the league in my opinion.

As much as I don't like him, he would dominate in our read and react, he would shoot the three ball over 40% and actually be able to throw entry passes to dwight

Don't laugh but their latest bust is exactly the type of player Morey likes to gamble on. :p

This guy isn't even out of his rookie contract and wants out?

    Seems like a quitter.

^^This. I know one player can't carry a team but a good player should make their team at least around a .500 club some years.

    Aye!

If we gambled on Bennett, we'd definitely be taking back a proven veteran player if it didn't work out. We have a window now. A decent sized window, sure, but nevertheless, there's a limited timeframe in which Howard will still be a top caliber impact player.

I've long advocated a three way trade with Cleveland, with us either getting Waiters and Bennett going elsewhere for a veteran player here. However, something like this might be interesting.

Ew... I'm much of a team building type of guy. I'm not against stars at all, but would much prefer stars that play off of each other. Irving + Harden would just be a bad fit all around, Irving can hardly play with Dion Waters.

Wouldn't really be against this. I think there is something still salvageable from Bennett, but he is just in a really bad place right now. He must be unconfident as hell and totally miserable, they should move him to D-League or give him time off to just practice with the coaches but I think just continuing to give him garbage time is the worst thing for him.

Yeah, that's what I figured. We have a pretty good track record of developing players with the d-league. Bennett would have zero pressure to perform. We stick him in RGV. Have Hawes play backup center and occasional power forward, and CJ Miles can be another rotation guy (he has a pretty good three point percentage this season, and if memory serves me correct he's not too shabby a defender either).

Seems like something up Morey's alley to pull off near deadline. Kind of like the random (caught me off guard) trade for T-Robb and Cisco.

Hey, Mo Williams was an all star one year. Either way if they don't get LeBron back in Cleveland they'll surely lose Kyrie.

And who is beating miami in the playoffs this year? The past two years you said pacers/celtics/bulls/thunder/pacers/spurs. Did you finally learn to stop making predictions against the king after being wrong so many times? Its like the little boy who cried wolf around here.

He would be the perfect fit for us on offense.

Why? Giving Harden another spectator while he shoots won't do jack.
