Davis should be the Kobe replacement. Dragic should replace Paul if he is unable to participate. Johnson should sit out and let Lowry play.
Other than the clear Lowry v Johnson snub, no real surprises. The NBA has shown numerous times it is extremely reticent about giving players from bad teams spots on the All-Star team (as they should be), so Cousins and Davis miss out. If Kobe is out, than Dragic should replace him, Phoenix needs a rep. Dragic and Lowry, sigh
I wish, but I'm willing to bet Lance is next in line Inside the NBA scoffed at Lowry even being mentioned, which came as a shock to me, until I realized that they don't watch anyone outside of the top-10 teams, watch the top plays, and have no clue what advanced stats are. They literally talked about Stephenson for the entire segment (he's also deserving, over the laughable pick of Johnson). They can see the Raptors won and that DeRozan had 2 big dunks and 27 pts, but ignore the fact that he had to shoot 10-26 to get it, while Lowry has his typical low-usage high-efficiency 15 pts on 4-9fg, 3-6three, 4-5ft, while pitching in 5 reb, 8 ast and locking down the other team's PG. It's sad that such great former players (and even the East coaches) don't acknowledge how valuable Lowry is.
Sucks that two of the biggest snubs were once Rocket players. Lin or Bev aren't having quite the impact someone like Lowry of Dragic did. At least on the court, Lin brought a bunch of LOFs so I guess that's some impact.
I got all of them right except for Joe Johnson. Lance Stephenson didnt' make it, and that's ridiculous. Deserves it more than Lowry or Johnson.
Joe Johnson hit a few game winners this year though, but I'd take Stephenson over Johnson this year. Wonder who they're going to pick to replace Kobe and CP3.
i dont consider stephenson an all star yet. imo its too early hopefully dragic can replace one of the spots bw kobe and paul. Who would have thought the suns would be 10 games over .500. Dragic is having a great year. Besides dragic what other guard would be a replacement next after him? Conley?

Davis got snubbed real hard. They are actually playing decent (close to .500) until injuries started piling up.
