Olajuwon's Complaints About His Role on the Rockets Are Just Plain Stupid!

    Hakeem Olajuwon is complaining about his role on the young Houston Rockets. "There's a lot of excuses about maybe I'm old (he is almost 38), but that's not true," he said. "I'm fit. I'm healthy. The other teams know that because they double- and triple-team me when I get the ball."
    Well Hakeem, I'm sorry to say this but the reason they double team you is because teams have been working traps on the Rockets big men and you've been making some pretty stupid passes, which is why your opponents double you. And also, Hakeem, you aren't very healthy. If you were healthy then you wouldn't have trouble with asthma.
    "If the Rockets won't use my talent (he doesn't have much left), somebody else is going to use it next year," he said. "They say I'm too old, but you have to think next year I'll be older but I'll produce more."
    Sorry again Hakeem, if you're too old to score 10 points per game, then how will you do better next season?
    "I'm enjoying this style, but you can't go away from the post completely," he said. "That's not winning basketball. If you don't use it this year, then that's motivation for next year to get someone (else) to use it, claimed Olajuwon."
    Hakeem, you may be right about how you can't completely take away the post, but how can the Rockets go to the post if they have no one that can score effectively? And if it's not winning basketball, how come the Rockets have a winning record? And also Hakeem, I would like the Rockets to get someone else who can still score in the post!
    Hakeem's stats are going down. He is averaging only 9.6 points per game, 6.1 rebounds, and only 1 block per game. Those aren't numbers of a guy that you want to make one of your 'go to' guys. So Hakeem, next time you complain about your role, try not to act stupid and just be thankful that Rudy is kind enough to start you. I'm a huge Rockets fan but watching Hakeem play and act like he needs more minutes and touches makes me sick.

    Crisco Kidd, wow that's one good night. Pig Miller scored 19 once. Does that mean he had a great season then? NO IT DOESNT!

    One game, I think it was against the Kings when we got murdered, Dream had an open dunk. He went up for the dunk and the ball hit the bottom of the rim, lol!

    One game, I think it was Rockets vs. Suns, Shawn Marion dunked the ball on the wrong basket. lol.
