I'm not saying dude wouldn't take a MAJOR paycut, but you realize he made a decent living outside of WWE for several years, right?

And you do realize that he did that all in the hopes that one day he will make the WWE roster... so now you are saying he is going to leave when he is actually getting pushed more than anyone else in the company?

It makes zero sense for Bryan to leave, hell he should be thanking them for giving him so much screen time.

I'm not the one that said he was leaving. I was simply refuting your incorrect statement.

My statement is not incorrect though... sure he could make ends meet on the independent circuit. But Bryan has not made enough in his career to live off of.

And if he even thought for a second about leaving the WWE at the apex of his career because he didn't get the Main Event, than his entire career would of essentially been a waste. Monetary wise anyway... and frankly I would look at him differently for being so self indulged. (thankfully I don't think for a second he is or that this is even a real issue)

Funny thing is punk should just commentate, he would actually have his tag line being true "BESTTTT IN THE WORLD".

Besides his taker match at WM, most of his matches and feuds haven't grown on me as match as it seems others had

everything is going to change.

WWE is in the midst of one of the most eventful weeks in years – and the company’s existing storyline plans through WrestleMania could be scrapped entirely by Friday night.

WWE has called for all-day creative meetings on Thursday and Friday,*according to a report by Wade Keller of PWTorch.com. A source says that “nothing is sacred” in terms of long-standing booking plans plans and “everything will be reevaluated.”

After everything that has happened the last 5 days, a HUGE re-write is a must…everything they have planned, the fans have completely crapped on and don't care except seeing something new. They obviously don't want this re hashed Orton/Cena/Batista rivalries so they've gotta figure it out

It really doesn't have to be a complete re-write, just make the main event a triple threat.

Have Bryan get screwed at EC, and continue being bullied by the authority, until he overcomes (maybe with Batista's help if they want him as a face that bad) and earns a spot in a triple threat match at mania.

    Triple Threat for title
    Brock v Taker
    Cena v Wyatts
    Shield breakup match

With one change that suddenly looks like an interesting card. They seem to be hell bent on having Triple H work mania, but he really doesn't have to, if he has to work, put him in a match with a person that needs the rub. Ziggler, Cesaro, Kofi anybody, just as long as it's someone new.

Maybe throw in an IC title fatal 4 way with Sheamus and Del Rio involved so the belt can start to regain it's prestige as the number 2 belt again. Writing really isn't as complicated as they make it.

So, you're saying you didn't say "without WWE he would be broke!" In reference to Daniel Bryan?

He would be... I mean relative to where he is at financially now.

10k for Indy shows doesn't go very far.

I think another reason Bryan isn't in the Title match is I heard the Undertaker wants him at Mania, which if true would be 1000X bigger and better than anything they could do for the strap.

And I wouldn't get to excited over that report, they are probably rewriting because Punk left, not cause they want to make the fans happy.

Daniel Bryan, and for that matter CM Punk could go to Japan tomorrow and make a very very comfortable living. It wouldn't be John Cena in the WWE money, but I assure you they'd do very well. Their styles would fit in much better over there anyway.

Hell, there's an offer on the table for KENTA supposedly and one of the question marks is whether he wants to give up being a big star in Japan for an uncertain WWE future.

Besides, Punk got a big raise on his last deal but I'm not really sure Daniel Bryan is making all that much right now on his current WWE deal anyway.

To piggyback, for example, according to WWE filings, CM Punk makes $1.7 Million Plus Allocated A Personal Tour Bus And Other First Class Travel, Also Some Creative Control And 3.25% Bonus On Merchandise Sales.

Daniel Bryan makes $620,000 downside with none of the other perks Punk has.

I remember in Daniel Bryan's interview on the Steve Austin podcast when they were talking about some of the top stars having buses, Bryan said he'd love to have a bus but he's "nowhere near" able to afford that with the level he's being paid. He goes on to say the others have earned it, he hasn't truly made it yet monetarily.

I am not sure why any Japanese star would come to the WWE. All that the WWE has ever done with any person of East Asian descent is to turn them into comedy jobbers.

Not to beat a dead horse, but if Bryan can get $10k per indy show (which seems to be the going rate for a star of his current stature) and he's making $620k/year with WWE, he could come close to matching his WWE payday on the indy circuit. Heck, one show a week = $520k. Sure, there would be more travel costs, but he'd hardly be scraping by. PLUS, he's got that Brie Bella/reality show money coming in too.
