That is BS. Lin supporters have already done a lot of damage with despicable unnecessary comments like calling Beverley a "monkey" and "hot trash" and that Bev starts because McHale is a "racist."

Quit taking the moral high ground when you know your lot post the most inflammatory comments towards the Rockets organization, coaching staff, and the real Rocket fans.

Lin supporters are the only reason this is even talked about. Nobody else cares.

With all due respect, you are one of those who post inflammatory comments a lot of the time. Both you and LOF trolls need to turn down a notch.

    Cheers

Show me one inflammatory post that I have posted.

I appreciate Lin as a player and his contributions to the Rockets. What I don't appreciate are his fans with their constant rumbling and pointing fingers everywhere because Rockets Organization (coaching staff, Harden, Parsons, fans) are holding Lin back from being a superstar that he soo deserves to be because of "Linsanity"

Seriously it gets too old and boring. Rockets wins cannot be appreciated because some Lin fan will start the infantile conspiracy theories.

Granted, there are delusional fans around. But the antagonistic stance which you often take do not help raise the quality of the conversation.

Maybe you shouldn't try to lump everyone that is a fan of Lin into one category all together. First, not all of them are Asian. Second, not all of them are teenagers. Third, not all of them are lacking basketball knowledge. Fourth, not all of them think Lin is a SUPERSTAR. And fifth and most importantly, ALL of them are not fans of Lin over the Rockets, but some are actually Rockets first fans who just believe that the Rockets have a better chance at winning and advancing in the playoffs with a properly utilized Lin as a starting and closing PG on this team.

These are just facts. You can disagree with them, but they are still FACTS.

If Lin is to start he doesn't need to beat out Beverley, he needs to beat out Harden.

That's ridiculous. Bev shouldn't be playing more than 15 to 20 minutes off the bench as an energy and hustle guy. Lin should NOT be playing SG the majority of his time on the floor and Harden should not be playing PG the majority of his time on the floor. But they should switch roles only to thrive off of each other or control the game when the other is resting on the bench.

Will rep if I can. Couldn't agree more. But Harden won't change, at least not under McFail's rein.

Best post I've seen in a loooooooong time. For some reasons, people like to pick on Lin's fans.

Well you certainly have a more negative view on Lin that's for sure. For example in yesterday's game against Maverick. Lin got the steal and drove the to the basket. Jose slid in underneath Lin to get a charge. Obvious bad call by the ref. Posters critical of Lin saw it as that. Your reaction:

Not saying you're part of the problem, but you're definitely not helping it either.

I love any Rocket player that is helping the team win and get better individually. However, I ask that we all stop the racist comments and moving forward collectively to discussing intelligently how the Rockets will improve going forward.

Jlin is improving, especially going to his left. I'm still concerned about his D. However, PBev must improve his overall offensive game and not settle for 3's all the time.

Jlin and Pbev 2 most important shots were step back 2's, one str8 in and the other off the glass.

WE HAVE BEATEN THE SPURS 3 TIMES AND BEAT DALLAS ON A BACK TO BACK ALL W/O OUR BEST PLAYER THE BEARD!! SUPA DUPA HYPED!!!

If someone called Beverley a monkey I'm sure they've already been banned. Saying "Lin supporters" did so is inflammatory. QED

    FTW Rockets FTW,

You may want to relax a bit. The mods on this site did a pretty good job getting rid of trolls (both LOFs and LOHs). I think this forum is much better than last year (Kudos to mods).

I have not seen anyone calling Bev a "monkey" on this site, you may be getting that information from other site. But still that is just one or two people.

Maybe you were deeply wounded by crazy Lin fans last year, but its getting better now and you should let it go.

Both Lin and Bev add great value to the team, Bev with the hustle and D, Lin with the ability to push the tempo and make big plays in 4th. Its not a competition between who should start, it just what is the best way to utilize them.

These last 2 games Jeremy Lin has made his case for being the lead guard on a team. He's better than just a bench point guard.

I still say the best thing for this team would be to start Lin and let him run the show with Harden playing off the ball to start games. Let Lin get everybody involved early, run the pick and roll with Dwight, let Harden spot up on the wing and run the offense that way to start the game. Then close with Harden at the top, Parsons on one wing, and whoever (Lin, Bev, Garcia, etc.) at the other wing to finish games. It gets Lin going. It relieves Harden of a lot of hard minutes early and keeps him fresher to close.

The case has been made and will remain that Bev is best playing alongside Harden. That case is based on Harden running the team from the top. But if Lin is running the team from the top then the question becomes who is a better sidekick.....Harden or Bev??? Don't laugh. There could be scenarios where Bev is actually a better fit with his D and we would be better off to move Harden to SF or PF for defensive purposes.

This team's strength is in the backcourt....still. In most cases, we're better off giving Harden run at SF or PF with Parsons and playing Lin and Bev up top over many other combinations of wings and power forwards.
