"When he's out, we have a more balanced attack," Parsons said of Harden. "We run our sets and get the best shot available. When he's not there, we don't go one-on-one as much."

    LOL

And y'all KNOW how I feel about Asik and his vagina. But I felt the same way when Parsons took it upon himself to publicly criticize him when the whole drama first started. I'm all for keeping it real, but keep that ish in the locker room.

I agree. Parsons needs to zip his mouth. He needs some PR lessons

Someone post a thread of this. I think this is thread worthy. Are they trying to have James adjust his game; what is he trying to do by making such a comment in public?

Harden is the best one-on-one player on the team so when he is out, the Rockets moving the ball and being able to hit the open shot is crucial. Parsons is a pretty good one-on-one player on some matchups but to have the most success when Harden is out, everyone must move the ball. I see nothing wrong with the statement Parsons made. He is speaking the truth.

I'm starting to wonder if its harden that is breaking up sets and isolating against McHale's will.

What I'd like James to do is move without the ball more and attack downhill after the catch. I'd like them to run dribble handoffs where harden receives the ball and turns the corner looking to attach immediately.

Chandler is not in the wrong for speaking up though. I just hope harden listens and tries to play to the teams strengtha,.

If the head coach was doing something about it, he wouldn't have to say anything. I think it's good he stepped up and said something.

Harden is without a doubt the best scorer on this team, Mchale should make sure he is doing it within the flow of the game. In the long run Harden would probably score more, and be a better player.

unfortunately i cant make threads for some reason, hopefully someone else will...i think the last couple games have made it clear the rockets are at their best when they move the ball...i mean tonight, on the road, back to back, they pulled it out, the box score is reflective of everyone contributing...Harden still a very good player tho

OKC plays better without Westbrook but they won't win a ring without him.

it definitely helps team chemistry when everyone gets touches...on defense especially, everyone is more invested and we can grind out the tough wins that we haven't been able to thus far

You're right, but when that doesn't work you sometimes have to take a different approach. James is too good to keep playing the way he has been.

I agree. Some people just read too much of it.

What does he gain by saying something publicly, rather than in the locker room or in a team meeting? Like earlier this season, what did he gain by criticizing Asik publicly, rather than behind closed doors? These guys are around each other more than any of us are around our coworkers. Like, why hit "reply all" to criticize your coworker when he sits in the cube next to you -- especially if you have to work with him going forward, in an industry where chemistry and mutual respect is everything?

Perhaps a stretch of an analogy, but you get what I'm saying.

Westbrook can actually defend, and the ball actually moves around even when he's playing. Neither Harden or Lin are on the same level as Westbrook defensively.

You can't say the same for harden, different style of play. You can compare Melo's game with hardens.

You're too sensitive. CP didn't use any negative tone at all. What's the big deal?
