McHale managed to ruin this game for me. It's like eating a $50 steak that fell on the ground.

Parsons had a great game, besides that late inbounds pass to AB in the end. Everyone played really great and we needed it when you are missing a star player like Harden. This should give Harden extra days of rest and he should be ready for our next game.

Parsons actually said that. Everyone can see it. It's not like this is some kind of giant secret.

Some interesting quotes in the post game interview:

''I don't know how many times they blew by us, but I'm glad we started fouling Howard because I was starting to get the chills over there from all of the blow-bys,'' Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said. ''It saved our guys the embarrassment of getting blown by two or three times in a row.''

''In true Houston form, we let them come back,'' Lin said. ''We're happy to sneak away with a win. We always seem to let it go down to the wire.''

I don't see it as a shot though? He didn't specify whether that difference is necessarily positive or negative. I think it was actually a good neutral response

Those last 4 games are on the road. And there's a 5th road game right after that at the Clippers. Tough stretch coming out of the All-Star Break.

The Rockets did just finish January with a 10-4 record, so props to them for that. They could've won 3 of those 4 games they lost(the one in Memphis was a lost cause). Then again they pulled that win in New Orleans out of their backsides, so win some, lose some.

It may be true, but that is something you talk to James about in privat, you don't say it in an interview to ESPN Parsons!!1. How about someone tell foxsports about Parsons we play better when he doesn't chuck 100ft from the basket or someone says that everyone knows he checks out Lins ass from time to time to out magazine, how bout we get Dmo to tell Bleacher Report that Dwight sucks at posting up and should stick to pnr, lol, that would be funny.

Sorry! New to this board - is this jinx actually a thing? I just have a good feeling about this team going forward. I feel like these last couple games they have turned a corner, especially confidence-wise.

Whoa, but it's actually the second time Parsons indirectly calls out Harden. Remember the first time he said someone in the team was playing selfish and he was referring to Harden.

This is the second time this season I feel Parsons has said something in an interview that would be better said in a team meeting. That public chastising of Asik was the first. SMH.

Can someone link this interview. This is an interesting statement to say the least. Is this normal to say something like this publicly?

It's actually not that bad when you put into context...

"I don't want to be that guy but... when he's out, we have a more balanced attack." - Chandler Parsons

Speaks the truth. It is not a shot to JH. He is the team captain after all. It is called leadership.
