Well, I think having them 2 clutch 4th Q players is awesome and I think it's why you'll see them closing a lot of games together. So no, we should look to both of them
    option 1A) Harden 1B) Lin 1C) Pray

Look, we pay Harden max money to be that guy. But we need less predictable plays in crunch time. Maybe start the ball off with Lin and catch Harden come off a screen as opposed to straight ISO which anyone can see coming.

Howard is great but he shouldn't be the closer. Opposing team will foul him immediately as he touches the ball within the final 2 minutes.

Parson is a great player as well but he can't create good shots consistently.

The primary closer should be Harden no question.

As opposed to Beverley, yes. As opposed to Harden, no.

Harden should be closer for the most part, just more plays should be run between Lin and Harden at the top.

Lin needs to capitalize on his lack of respect. If Harden was playing, the other team puts their best defender on him (Marion in this case probably). That's when Lin needs to step up since Harden would be shooting at low efficiency with a good defender on him.

Dallas doesn't have a single PG that can guard anyone with a pulse. Spurs really don't either. These last 2 games have been great situations for Lin, while Harden's last 2 games vs Memphis were terrible because of the situation.

They should both be on the floor at the end of the game and the team should be encouraged to feed the ball to the player that is open or has demonstrated a matchup advantage during the course of the game. There is no way to guard the Rockets when both of those guys are touching the ball and are getting into the paint.

Per McHale, in the end it's de facto Harden for better or worse

You put the ball in the hands of your best player at crunch time and that would be harden. There should be no doubt or debate over this. However, mchale needs to be smarter and less predictable on this and perhaps set a play for lin sometimes since he is a clutch player and generally do well during crunch time. Harden needs to trust his teammates as well and not force a shot when covered by good D

Harden is our best player, but Lin is our most clutch player.
