This sounds crazy but James Harden should be the 6th man...

Why LOFs, why do you do this to yourselves? Why bring up ideas that won't even happen in a parallel universe?

Well Harden was called out by the rockets commentators for cherry picking.

i think it was Bill Worell who called Harden out on cherry picking in the last game Rockets vs Memphis game . where we lost. The 2 other commentators came to confirm and expand on it. Explaining what cherry picking was.

Seriously Harden has picked up so many bad habits since he has become a Rocket. He wasn't like this in OKC

To go further on this "lazy" vs "hard working" nonsense, what reason is there to believe that Lin is any more "hard working" than Harden? They are about equal on defense (that is to say, not that great). What exactly does Lin do to show that he is so hard working? I mean, I like the kid a lot. I think he is a talented player. But there is nothing about his game that makes me say "wow that guy is a really hard worker." You see guys like Beverley, Motiejunas, and Brewer go out on the floor and really bust their asses for offensive rebounds and loose balls.

Jeremy is not exactly that kind of player. Actually, I think Jeremy Lin is a lot like Harden in terms of his skill set, but he is not as strong and is generally a more inconsistent shooter. To me, Lin is like a "Harden-lite".

Not a matter of pay, but talent and ability. Harden is a legitimate star and therefore he gets paid and treated like one. Lin is no where close to being a star and is a role player, hence he gets treated like a role player. That is all there is to it.

This sounds crazy, but no harm to try this for a few games since we are still a WIP.

It is a bad idea, you should be banned for a few days just for suggesting it.

I think people generally feel players that are drafted low or undrafted are more hardworking than lottery picks. Because people like to assume that top picks have more natural talent. Therefore they don't have to work as hard to achieve their current status in the NBA.

I think such way of thinking is flat out wrong, because it assume players don't work hard before the draft to improve their game, or that NBA only draft on athleticism and nothing else. But it's how a lot of people think.

Of course, I think some just say it because they have an agenda.

I have a good theory. Lin and Harden should switch roles where Lin is the primary ball handler and Harden plays off the ball and as a spot-up shooter.
