once, twice a week tops. Usually not more than 2-3 mixed drinks. Just doesn't do it for me anymore. Healthier habits.
yeah, moving to the North changed my drinking habits 100%. Probably some kind of coping mechanism of being away from family/friends... but whatever.
Twice a week - usually Fridays and Saturdays Heavy on one night ~ 16 Drinks Light on the other night ~ 4 drinks
This could use a poll. Also an age break down for each option. Just turned 30, I tend to hit it hard on most Fridays and Saturdays and often on Sundays during football season, as long as I didn't go overboard on Saturday night. By hitting it hard I mean 10-12 beers and 4-8 shots. I am a skinny dude though. With football over Sundays will probably involve a few bloodies early in the day or maybe a few in the evening with a movie or dinner. Sometimes have a few during Monday night football or on Thursdays if I'm playing in a drinking social league. Now that football is over Ive been doing Monday night trivia and having a few. I live in Austin and this seems to be the norm for friends and a lot of acquaintances (maybe I just tell myself that).
A few times a week but it's only 1-2 drinks a night. The little bit of buzz that I can get from that much is really all that alcohol does for me. Past that point, I just feel sick later or it messes with my sleep. Not worth it. Not to mention possible health consequences, etc. Wine is the best but it's got some calories, so most of the time just a splash of vodka in some diet drink.
I'm old friends with the GM and he's a huge Rockets/Longhorns fan. He's also director of their beverage service, so I'm not surprised you love the cocktails! Ask for a Clint Rogers and tell him the name in your rep said to buy you a drink.
I rarely have more than 2-3 drinks in a single sitting anymore. And then I prefer a nice frosty mug and a good craft beer to the guzzling of liquid swill light beers. I find that 2-3 good craft beers drank throughout an evening will still produce the similar effect of 5-7 light beers without all the bloat and pissing that a night like that produces.
This is the truth. If I know I'm going to be drinking for a long period of time, I'll switch to the light stuff. But for a couple drinks during the Rockets game, I'm the same.
