NBA Game Action: 1/28/2014

Games worth watching with both teams being decent and good are :

Spurs/Rockets

Grizz/Blazers

 

AD had a block party against the Cavs (8).

 

Grizzlies are doing a number on Portland. I hope they make the playoffs.

 

Anthony Bennett had 15 points tonight

 

Memphis is blowing out Portland in Portland. Quite impressive.

 

Lillard in a slump is killing me in fantasy. I guess the dropoff was inevitable. 41% from the field for the season is pretty bad. Wait why is he such a shoe-in for all-star starter according to some people? he doesn't even average many assist either. damnit Lillard.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if the Grizzlies leap frogged the Rockets. They are the anti-Blazers, Warriors, and Rockets. Probably as good as the Clippers... again.

I think the league should take Memphis seriously now. Trading away the streaky Bayless for a consistent scorer like Lee pretty much fixes their lack of scoring that plagues them last year after the Rudy Gay's trade. Having Gasol back and Z-bo going beast mode makes them a tough matchup for just about every team in the league.

 

Grizz 3 games above .500, Rockets 13 games above .500. Not saying it's not possible though. Just happy we don't have to see them again now that they've hit their stride.

 

Aldridge on the other hand is killing it!

Someone offered Anthony Davis for Aldridge and i declined :grin:

 

Yeah I also have Aldridge and Paul George on my team. George stunk it up tonight too.

Memphis scares the **** out of me. I hope the unstoppable Clippers don't move up too much and end up facing these guys again!

 

Also lol @GS coming back to earth thanks to bozo Jackson riding his starters too much... again. Curry is going to be walking dead by the time the playoffs come around. Worst coach in the league by far.

Vogel is doing the same thing btw which is why the Pacers will flame out against the Heat again. He had his starters in to finish out the game with the Pacers up 15. Dumbass. Fortunately for him the Pacers can coast most of the year but this kind of idiocy will burn him when it couts.

 

These teams are required to play each other in the playoffs. They always make for a good matchup.

 

Only hing about playing the Clippers is that eventually Blake is going to go ape**** on ZBo. Just the nature of things...

 

The griz shouldn't be scared of any of the other playoff teams, you can match up with everyone

 

Wall>curry

Don't just look at the box score..watch the game.
Curry is def a better shooter and scorer...but wall is a much better playmaker, passer, hustler, and by far a better defender.

Wall flustered curry into turnovers and bricks while the warriors put iggy on wall..and even doubled him with iggy and green the moment wall crossed half court a few times.m
