Damn, what an effort. I'm proud of our boys .... but they're going to be really tired tomorrow in Dallas. :(

Great defensive game by our guys, this can't get unnoticed! Solid effort, even better rotations. there were a few times where we didn't finish our defensive possessions with rebounds, but whatever. solid defense today

Let's enjoy this great comeback win instead of turnign this thread into a Lin vs Beverley vs Harden back and forth

You're missing the bigger picture. The cloth that is CF is Lin. We are just pawns.

its hard to believe the LOF vs LOH war being so toxic...Lin and Bev are clearly good teammates and root for one another, cant we do the same?

I want to credit coaching for making the big adjustment early in the game to change the vibe. The team started horrible trying to run their usual system. Coaching took Lin out for a few minutes, then put him back in to run the offense for awhile. This immediately changed the tempo, and also seemed to get TJones involved right away. To end the half, Howard finally manned up against Old Man Timmy (before that he was getting pushed around by Duncan). Howard was huge in the 2nd half.

The Bev-Lin combo kicked off the 2nd half really well. To me their offense, defense, minutes, assists, fouls etc, is a better combo package than one single guard possessing some of their skills can provide (unless it’s that dude on the Clippers). I think they’re cardio buddies. I also liked Bev pushing Lin’s head. Also, I disagree with those that say Lin’s “aggression” is totally up to him. He plays under a system, and he does well adjusting to the roles that the system demands of him. His game changes based on how coaching wants him to play under that system. To me this is a strength rather than a weakness.

Started out as a blowout by SA, but ended up as a good win. Some will say it was a depleted SA who can’t beat good teams, but so what, Houston’s also depleted and it’s a needed win against a top team. TJones had a great game, and the other guys off the bench contributed nicely. No doubt this team will win plenty more games for the remainder of the season. I just hope that based on those big losses, coaching and higher ups will allow additions to the main system going forward, such as:

    - Some more half court as Howard mentioned in an earlier interview
    - Play more physical as Lin mentioned in an earlier interview
    - Change up who runs the point (offense) depending on opponent (too obvious to me this is a hidden advantage for the team)
    - And PLEASE incorporate more PnRs instead of just force feeding Howard when it’s not working.

Congrats to McHale and Houston for sweeping SA!! Now get that win against the Mavs!

Great win tonight. Fun to watch. Dwight sucked in the beginning but he came through. Got to feed the big man.

Harden off the bench. Harden slows the ball movement and plays no defense. He's better off the bench.

So they conveniently forget that we don't have Harden, the star of the team? Not to mention the fact that our backup center is pouting and refuses to play. We had to play DMo important minutes.

Someone fill me in because I was gone in the 3rd quarter (errands!). I think I heard they did hack a Dwight and it failed? If the Spurs didn't do it, then would they have been better off?

The Spurs must be Lin's favourite team. He almost always plays well against them.

Not to mention Brooks poking it out to secure it at the very end.

All in all an amazing play. That sealed the game.
