I love Bev, but everytime its a last second shot and he is near the ball.... bad things happen. So no more bev with 5 secs left.
Finally happy with Howard in the last several plays. Before that he was getting out muscled by an old man who is known for fundamentals, not physicality.
We have zero awareness in this game, it's amazing how low we can go as a team..it's not even surprising. We are 9 for 36, that's 25% if you exclude TJ!!!
Rockets started to play really hard in the 2nd quarter! I really enjoyed watching that and they scored more than the Spurs. Got to commit to play hard and push the tempo if that's the chosen strategy. I hope they come out playing hard as well!
I didn't see the horrendous start but nice come back to be within touch at half time. What caused the 6-20 start?
Idk whats with this team lol. We get smacked in the early minutes, and somehow come back later on. I give credit to our talented roster. Coaching staff.. not so much
We need Parsons and Lin to step up more offensively if we want to win. I'm not relying on Tjones to have another 35 point night to keep us in the game
the only proper play is the Howard post up. Besides that it's just mindless dribbling and passing/shooting.
It is clear that Lin's lack of aggression is a product of the game plan. Whenever he is playing with the starters, Beverley brings the ball up the court and the only movement Lin makes is to clear out space. The one time I saw him get the ball he passed it straight to Dwight in the post. Since he was clearly making things happen with the bench I wonder if this will change in the second half...
FACT....there is no rebounder on the floor other than Dwight....he can't get them all. DMO ? Ahh, no. I'm sure he has value but I'm failing to see it. Hits a 3 pointer (17%_...that's his value ? Not hardly. FT's ? Unbelievable...just can't give away points at the FT line. Dwight we know is not good there but geez it's catching with the others.
