    1) His contribution as the BEST playmaker on the team if Harden doesn't play, is limited or partially determined by HOW MANY MINUTES he gets to play, which GREATLY will affect IF THE TEAM WINS in tonight's game, because he WILL BE our best playmaker if Harden doesn't play.

    2) He has not been utilized best to help the team win by making him a shooting guard, making him a 3pt shooting specialist, taking the ball out of his hands, and not playing him during crunch time where the statistics show that he is one of our best players during that time. Not to mention that he will be the BEST driver to the basket on our team tonight if Harden doesn't play.

If you really ONLY care about the Rockets winning tonight, then without Harden, you want to see our best players skills utilized effectively to produce the best results for our TEAM, THE ROCKETS. Anything else is just hate or ignorance.

You're basing everything on your fandom. That second paragraph is enough for me to not even try discussing basketball with you.

I have no hate or ignorance, either. I'm a Rockets fan through and through. One player doesn't change that. Ignorance to the game? Hardly. I'm just able to see beyond one player's influence on the game and recognize that the outcome of this game will NOT depend on Lin's influence during "crunch time" or whatever you're suggesting. If you want to focus on one player making the biggest difference tonight, I'd suggest you analyze how important Dwight will be on both ends of the floor.

Not necessarily true, just a simple difference of opinion :)

Looking forward to cheering whoever is on the court. Go Rockets!

I'll say you come across as a LOFH or BOF. These are those who can't tolerate any discussion that Lin should start over Lin, even when Bev is slumping big time offensively and has next to nothing in assists. There are many HOF who wants Houston to win. If Bev starting is not the solution, change it for the sake of the team. I am a LOF? Give me a break. I am the only guy who is promoting here to trade Lin for Jimmer Fredette, a 51% 3pt specialist, to complement Harden. I started the thread 'Let Harden be the official PG'. I have been ridiculed by crazy LOF for that. Now tell me you are not a BOF. If your interest is just to promote Bev at the cost of team win, you are not HOF. He has failed the team. His pesky D is appreciated but opposing guards still score 20+ summarily over him. We need offense especially consistent high 3 pt shooting because the big 3 are inconsistent. We need every one on the starting line up to be an offensive threat. Bev starting now is hurting Howard. He got double teamed often when Bev can't shoot 3s.

So let Harden start and get an established 3pt specialist to complement him. That is the salvation for this team right now, not some ball pressure D.

It's okay if you make basketball statements like Lin is playing like a scrub or whatever.

But to wish the guy injury? It just says what you are as a person. It's sad.

I hope so. But if Bev can't shoot 3s his defender will leave him to double Howard. Parson and Casspi better hit high % of 3s tonight to have a chance to win.

The way the starting lineups keeps changing due to experimenting and injuries is making it increasingly difficult for the team to gel. Just hope it's not one of those nagging injuries that lingers for several games.

Jeremy is Harden's backup, not Bev. So it's expected he'll play big minutes tonight.

Team better without his lazy ass...especially on defense...any one ever played on a team with a guy that just refuse to play defense?.."it rubs off on everyone else"..you find yourself thinking..why should I help him with his man when he's not even making the effort to stay in front of him..

What were you saying about my 2nd paragraph again? I honestly don't think you are ignorant based on the posts that I have read from you, but it is clear from my point of view that you are BIASED against Lin...for whatever reason I have no idea.

While DH might have been the player of the game, without Lin's play as PG tonight, not SG or SF, we don't win this game I think. With the talent on this team, if Lin is allowed to play PG on this team 35 minutes a game, not 35 minutes between 3 different positions; he will easily average 8 assists and have many games with double digit assists.

He just sees the court and has the skills to make plays that no one else on the team has other than Harden. He is not redundant to Harden, they both make the team better when they play together and SHARE the ball to get the offense going.

Why is it so hard for you to admit this simple truth? I know as a basketball man that surely you can actually SEE IT!
