I think that if the rockets could some how pull off a trade where we cold get martin and maybe van-horn, and maclavian, for shandon, olajuwon, taylor, williams, and our next first round draft pick. Starting line up PG: Steve Francis SG: Mobley sf: vanhorn pf martin c: cato ------------------ Steve and Mobley will lead this team to the championship for years to come
Yeah, and maybe they'll thrown in Marbury too. Don't waste our time with this nonsense. ------------------ "Oh No..." -Bill Walton in 97 just before Stockton's buzzer beater
and new jersey would do that because? ------------------ SUCK POLICE!!!!!! To point out individuals or teams that have managed to reach the pinnacle of SUCKINESS!!!!! ----- THE WASHINGTON SUCKSKINS!!!!!!! My Cowboys might SUCK, but its nice to know that we can always rely on the SUCKSKINS to be our B**CH!!!!
why dont the nets just trade their entire team for our entire team. except we keep francis and they keep marbury. and while we are at it lets trade rudy for byron scott. ------------------ "Man, it's cool. I'm going to be president. That's Wicked." -George W. Bush, SNL
Love it but dont you ever put that topic up to scare me like that. I got so happy thinking something might be happening! ------------------ Vice President of the Jason Collier fan club!
YA'LL LIKE KMART AS A PLAYER? THINK HE'LL DEVELOP INTO A GOOD TO GREAT PF? I don't know. Even when he was at Cincy, I was never really that impressed with Kenyon. Now don't get me wrong, I think he's a solid player, just not overly impressive. I see him as a cross between Ratliff and Jerome Williams, a high-energy guy whose primary role is that of a shot-blocker and rebounder. BTW, any trade talk involving Dream and the Nets has to being Van Horn to Houston. No KVH, then the Rockets' response should be a dialtone. ------------------ "We make a lot, but we spend a lot." I am in agreement with Live; I had a similar unorthodox take like that on Kenyon. This past draft was a complete K-Mart love fest with people going on about how great this guy was going to be. He's a good player dont get me wrong that will have some All Star appearances and all, but I dont think he's the next big franchise player like he was made out to be. I still think despite Sidney Lowe's bringing along Swift slowly that Stromile is the best player along with Darius Miles in this past draft and is bound for elite NBA status. I dont think K-Mart will ever be in the class of the Webbers, Garnetts or Duncans, but I think Swift has a definite shot of one day cracking into that kind of elite company. When its all said and done, I think Martin will be viewed as third best in this draft behind Swift and Miles. ------------------ Check out the Best Source for Draft Info Draftsource.net
Did you see his two HUGE dunk attempts last night? The first was OVER 7'6" Bradley....but he missed it. He took off from the dots, though. I got all filled with love for Kenyon! I thought (as he glided through the air, with ball cocked back) "Kenyon is going to break Bradley in half! I love this GGGAAAAMMMEEE!!!" Too bad he missed it. Bradley may have gotten a peace of it. The second was a huge two handed dunk as he drove right down the middle. Very nice! Kenyon is good. Very good. The problem is that he is expected to perform and progress much faster for the Nets. They don't have a presence in the middle, unless you want to call MvIlvaine a presence. Marbury is out, Van Horn is still out, so more is expected of Martin. I think he has performed admirably to this point. He will get better. I am not sure if he will turn out to be a star PF, but at worst, he will be a solid PF for years to come. ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
