    A Winning Season. Great film.

I know documentaries are not allowed, but a really great one is called Heart of the Game, about girls high school basketball in Seattle.

Hoosiers, then White Men Can't Jump, and then He Got Game. I can't imagine a basketball movie better than Hoosiers.

Not top ten, but Semi Pro was an entertaining movie.

Sure it is... Remember...? It was Sean Connery, who clinched the victory for Mailor-Callow with that incredible alley-oop pass off the pick from his protégé who slammed it down.... That was precisely the moment when he gave us the inspiring reading that became one of the internet's earliest memes, "You're the man now, dawg!"

How could you forget such a classic cinematic moment....?

Terrible list. Of course VHB would leave out Hoosiers and Coach Carter - two terrific basketball related films.

Blue Chips and Basketball Diaries get my vote, but for whatever reason as dumb as they were I liked The 6th Man and Celtic Pride when I was younger

I'm so glad The 6th Man got mentioned, I rewatched it after barely remembering it and it was so hilariously bad I had to watch it twice. Same goes for Like Mike, best nostalgic basketball films ever.

The Other Dream Team was one of the better documentaries I've seen in the past few years. About the 90's Lithuanian National basketball team.

The one where the basketball team is an underdog and then they win at the end because there's a motivational speech that brings them back after halftime and some conflict is resolved because of the game. That's the one I'm thinking of.

I'm going to have to go with:
