    Answer the poll above.

Who do you think is the MVP of the season as of right now?

Can't really argue with Durant at this point. Thunder have gone what, 8-3, since Westbrook has been out? And dude's been averaging 37 / 6 / 6 over his last ten games. What a beast.

I am one of those "Lebron, and it's not even close" type of people the last few years (even when he was being hated). But, Paul George and Durant are definitely pushing Lebron harder and harder.

That's because in those last few years you were right. It was Lebron and not close. Now it's Durant and it's not close.

Same here. Durant is of course always going to be 2nd to LeBron but this would be the year he wins it if ever.

Although I agree that Durant is playing better than LeBron and this thread is about "up to now" I also think Lebron will explode and Durant will "cool" off. He will still average his ~30PPG.

Durant, and it's not even close. Durant has better averages in every stat except ASTs and FG%. And while LeBron still has Chris Bosh, Durant without Westbrook has had to do everything to stay atop the West. LeBron and the Heat seem deflated when Wade isn't in the lineup.

Not to mention, Heat have a worse record in the EASTERN CONFERENCE than OKC has in WESTERN CONFERENCE

Durant is just in another league right now.

We probably screwed OKC over when we took Harden. If they still had Harden they would definitely be the odds on favourite to be champs this year.

Durant has taken the next step in his development this year and he deserves to be the MVP, especially if the Thunder manages to finish with the best record in the NBA (they are one game behind Indiana).

It's Durant by like 50 miles. He's lapped everyone in the MVP race.

Lebron is still the better player by far.
