I think the more immediate issue is if the team continues playing poorly, these two losses could just be the start of an ugly losing streak. Up next, Spurs then Mavericks. Luckily we match up better with the Spurs but they'll be out to revenge the Christmas Day Massacre of 2013.:(

What ever the Rox coaching and management has done, we have regressed in some way. We used to blow away team last year with Lin leading the fast pace uptempo game last year. Now we are not any where like last year in tempo. We out ran the Memphis bigs last year and blew them away. Why didn't we do that again this year. Bev has another zero assist game playing 30+ minutes as the starting pg. How do win with such low assist from the starting pg? Make me want to have last year's team back. At least they ran and ran.

Its Harden > any PG, in this system.

The myth is that Lin stopped producing when Melo came back.

Even after Melo came back he averaged about 16/7.

We've tried to develop Howard's post-up game when P&R's should be the staple of our offense in a half-court situation. if the things stay the same, in the playoffs Howard won't be effective doing what he's doing and without our fast pace tempo we'll be lucky not to get blown out.

Clutchfans can be so dumb sometimes. Why are we talking about Lowry and Dragic? Morey needed to trade Lowry to get assets. Got the asset needed to get Harden. Let Dragic go because he didn't want to give the player option. Morey didn't want to tie the team up in the future. It is what it is. Morey landed Harden and Howard. Let's stop living in the past. LOF are over the top, but a lot of you guys are LOH, without wanting to admit it. The hate for Lin runs so deep, people sweep under the rug how horrible Bev has been. But he plays defense!! If Lin was starting and had the exact same statline that Bev has had, the board would be going nuts. It already is. With this Lin is too passive, needs to be in the D league and all this other nonsense. Lin and Bev aren't really the reasons why this team is struggling. The bottom line is as talented as the Rockets are, they just don't do well vs bigger more physical teams and when the 3 ball doesn't fall, they're in for a long night.

Instead he tied us up with Asik and Lin's poison pill contracts. Even better.

If ALL the players are struggling, it can't be Lin or Bev's fault. It has to be coaching.

If the Rockets didn't get Dwight, the Rockets would be a competitive team looking to land a top flight FA when their contracts were up/use the expiring contracts as assets. Nobody was sure Dwight would come. He did and it is what it is. Bev fits better with this starting lineup in theory. But I think the Rockets should just roll with Lin. At the end of the day 3/4ths of this board thinks he's garbage. So in turn no team is gonna trade for him. Might as well play him and boost up his value. And for as much D that Bev brings, it hasn't resulted in wins.

It is man. It really is. But we argue about Lin and Bev every game.

you kidding? everyone will be knocking on the door for their expiring contracts next year. The Bulls freaking gave away Luol Deng just so they can cut Bynum to save more money.

Yeah... why? Is it because people want their opinion to be proven right. Are they fans of the Rockets, or fans of their own opinions.

Now that's a question that cuts to the core, Baxter.

When Rockets win a weak team, they will forget all their loss.
    This is called happy basketball.

Lin didn't stop producing, it's just that maxed-contract Melo wanted the ball and the game to get hot when he's not even a leader. I keep telling people that Harden is doing the exact same thing here but they don't want to listen

Heartlessness is unacceptable. No respect for heartlessness, ever. Pathetic, embarrassing, humiliating. The low point of the season. If they don't get their heads into the game this could be the beginning of a season altering losing streak or at least it feels that way to me.

Honestly the team just look like everyone is going for their own stat instead of actually helping each other and sacrifice to win games. Sigh, I miss battier and C.Hayes..

Its amazing how much they regressed compared to last year. Last year they were passing the ball, trusting each other. The players were clearly having fun on the floor and enjoyed playing together.

    This year, not so much.
