All we needed was 1 point to tie.
Was giving it to one of the drivers (JH or JL) and just drive to the basket
(and possibly get some FTs) an option?

based on 13 games? against who? on what road schedule? what was the win vs loss records? based on less than 15 mins of play per game for starters

 

A champion team doesn't need every player like all star, role players r also key.

This is a very sensible post - me likey. And before I get called an LOF - you can refer back to posts after a bad Lin game or 2 - It's not Bev's fault but the coaches need to recognize his shot was really off tonight and maybe put Casspi in there with Lin on the last couple offensive possessions. Just a thought. I though McHale's thing was to go with the hot hand?? And conversely to not go with the not hot hand.

 

It should've been what happened. For some reason Parsons got the ball. By then we severely limited our options given the good D they were playing.

My guess is McHale doesn't draw plays. He more or less talk in principle and tells players to improvise based on what they see.

 

Well Im out, this is a tough one to get over but I hope Chandler keeps playing this way and gets an All Star spot cause he truly is the man for us this year. When he was out it showed and tonight it showed even more. That and Mcfail needs to go, matter of fact I say we ban anybody with Mc from being on this team for a long time

 

Your opinions should be buried. I see why McHale wants to start Bev and he definitely has a boner for Bev but Lin should be playing more minutes than Bev and closing games

 

Well at least Beverly has improved to 3 point total tonight with 1/11 shooting (1/8 3 point shooting).

rockets really need to trade lin and asik for a good SG. They need a good SG. Harden is obviously playing point.

 

How many times have i told you guys that mchale is an incompetent coach.

Bad at player management, rotations. Bad in drawing up plays.

If you guys still can't see below average coaching in this game, i dont know what will convince you.

 

Haha alright then. I'm sure we only lost this game because Jeremy Lin didn't start. Not because Harden wasn't aggressive or Dwight didn't get any shots. Not because Jones went 4-10, or Casspi 2-7, but because Jeremy Lin didn't start.

I'll believe statistical evidence, thanks though.

 

This is a great point - a good SG with solid handles and passing ability for when needed would be AWESOME for this team and Harden can run the show - He's obviously great at it when he chooses to be. Afflalo anyone??
