Chris Bosh, forward, 6-feet-11, 210 pounds, Georgia Tech, freshman; 19 years old.

Comment: In time, could end up being the best of this bunch. Very athletic, good ballhandling skills and talented inside and out. Needs to add strength. Is expected to announce draft intentions Friday.

chris bosh is projected to be probably the number 4 pick in the draft after lebron, carmelo, and darko. bosh has been compared to kevin garnett and tim duncan in some cases and he's intelligent for his age(Member of the National Honor Society, the National Society of Black Engineers and the Dallas Association of Minority Engineers) even though I like eddie griffin's game, if his off court problems continue, it might be best to trade him for the number 4 pick along with maybe bostjan nachbar, or some future draft considerations.

    PG Francis
    SG Mobley
    SF Posey
    PF Bosh
    C Yao

Do we need another teenager on the team?

    Interesting trade scenario.
I have watched Bosh play. And I really like the idea of him in a Rox uni. If the team that drafts Bosh is willing to trade him for EG and Nachbar or something like that. We should do it!

    Spiral - what in the world makes you think that we could get a top-10 pick, much less the #4 pick in a shallow draft for a non-developing Griffin? Bosh is very green and "green-ness" will not get us to the playoffs. It's nice to watch the draft, and all, but please don't think we have what it takes (not even that we'd be inclined) to get into the top 10, without talking Ming or Francis. Just MHO. :;

It would be great for us, but how would the other team benefit?

i'm just saying, that with griffin's off court problems still up in the air and nobody knowing how he'll rebound from this setback. that it would be best to get a younger, and comparable talent to griffin who actually has the work ethic to make it as a star. if you can get bosh, the rockets should do everything they can to trade for him. trade mo taylor, griffin, whatever bench players, or draft considerations plus cash. even though its pretty much impossible. i think it would be a missed opportunity if they didn't try to get him.

true, he's only 19, but he's also a member of the honor society and intelligent for his age and i read a scouting report that said he's coachable and a good shot blocker with long arms. and he can pass. only real flaw, needs to get stronger.

I doubt any team would trade their top 4 picks to us unless we offer them either Steve or Yao. That said, I would trade Griffin for the 4th pick in a heart beat (if any GM is stupid enough to do this).

You trade Griffin for another 6-10" 210lb skinny PF? Isn't Griffin's problem that he is still too young, not big/strong enough to battle in the post? And now you want to get younger and get someone with pretty much the same physical build?

If people in the NBA thought Bosh had an upside like Duncan or Garnett they would not be projecting him at #4 and lower. He would be #2 and lower.

If Griffin and Nachbar could command the #4 pick in the draft (which is highly unlikely in any event) then I would ship the #4 and Mobley to the Clippers and get Brand! At least then we would improve our PF position with a "known" commodity.

Well actually Miami is 4th in the draft. If they don't make the lottery maybe we can consider a trade with them.
    How about a trade like:
    EG+MoT+Moochie+2nd rounder for Grant+pic
I don't know if it work salary-wise though...
I'm sure there someone on our team whom Riley is interested in!

    Look at NY, possibly Milwaukee.

The Knicks have publicly said they are looking at a veteran for their #9 pick (if they don't get LottoLucky, that is). They reportedly are still enamored with local long fellow EG. They need a 5 in the worst way (what way is worse than KC?) so, yes, Cato and Griff + filler could =Thomas, #8, and filler.

(Milwaukee is supposedly looking into using their pick (#8, I think, from Atlanta) to help dump a bad contract and get a 5 (again, KC, my man, you are my value to egt something real in return).
