Thanks - I don't really want to address - people who must not be seeing the same thing. Once again, I believe about 4 of those points and 1 or 2 assists Lin got when the game was out of reach. I was honestly kind of upset when it looked like his team was ignoring him on O and everyone else was getting touches - but it also kinda made sense. I'm just glad McHale is even letting him play garbage time to see if he can somehow regain some form/mindset.
That said - I would like to see the ball handling duties split up more evenly when Bev and Lin are both on the floor. I think throwing Lin a PG bone will help him be engaged and start attacking more.
Wow, really? Now people are criticizing Harden for supporting his teammates? LOL, he probably only did it because someone told him it would make him look less selfish and lazy
8 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, 0 turnovers, team is +31 with him on the floor. You really think people would be crapping all over Lin if he had a game like that and we won the game decisively? I really doubt it.
You can tell who watches games and who just checks box scores. Solid win, though. Tough break for Boogie and Rudy, but I'll take it. Casspi balled his ass off tonight... awesome to see him make the most of the opportunity. And I felt like a proud mama for Covington. Onto the next win, pls.
if you watched the game you would know that 7 of lins 13 came in garbage time in the fourth.. we think bev had a good game bc of the defense he plays and bc he gets people involved by pushing the ball (8 assists in the time he played is awesome) his job is not to score points as a starter, his job is to make the other teams pg night a living hell, push the ball and he did EXACTLY that. I. thomas had 20 points on 16 shots and he came in averaging 29 points in the last few games, so yah he had a good game bc he did exactly what we need him to do..lin btw did have a bad game until the game was out of reach
One thing that I've really noticed the past two games is the increased effort by each and every player. They're flying all over the place, and it looks like the team has really placed a higher importance on relying on hard work and not just talent. It's awesome to see us getting all of these second chance points.
Only got to see the first half of the game. From what I saw DMO and Casspi were playing amazing. Good to see Casspi with a great overall game if im not mistaken het got a double double. Also I wish McHale went to the bench earlier, I wouldnt have mind to see Covington get 15 minutes and Brooks to at least get 10 Min.
I really think that a lot of that has to do with Beverley being back in the line up. He just brings energy on every play. Intangibles I guess...
Yeah, that was nice - I thought when Cousins went down it was his knee - and I was like, NO BEV, NOT AGAIN!
I am happy we won, it feels a bit empty since they were short handed. Hopefully we will go on, and continue to get better.
Eeer dude, nchan was being playful and joking. It is a reality that NBA players don't get to choose who plays in the all-star games, the fans vote them in. After the starters are chosen, aren't the coaches the ones choosing the subs? NChan was palyfully stating the obvious, geez
uhhhhhhh.. James, don't wanna burst your beardy bubble but...KD? Iggy? Batum? Its a bumper crop of small forwards.
It's just hard to understand why a reasonable person would criticize someone for supporting his teammate.
