Damn. I had (mostly) given up on his getting another chance in the NFL, but it seemed like he was doing well enough personally. I hope he can get through this bankruptcy and find a good landing spot. I would think there's always a spot for him in Austin, regardless of who the head coach is.

Someone needs to talk some sense into him and tell him to take that CFL gig. I get the feeling that he has no interest in doing anything but football and the NFL just isn't happening again. We saw what happened to Terrell Owens and he was much more talented
VY should have hired professional agents and investors, hiring his 'uncle' was a bad idea. VY go to Canada and do a Warren Moon.
I thought NFL, NBA etc all give the players course on how to handle their money first week of the training camp? Guess if you do not want to follow good advise, you won't listen.
It wouldn't shock me if Vince couldn't read. Seriously. It's sad the intelligence levels of some of these athletes.
He should just move to Austin and hawk anything someone will pay him for. Used Cars, Furniture Stores, Wings...whatever. He could also buy a food truck and sell autographs out of it...Longhorns would eat it up.
Unfortunately after hearing Vince in many interviews over the years he just doesn't have the quick mind to be a broadcaster. I expect that UT will eventually put him in a role like Earl Campbell as some sort of school ambassador.
