I had no idea he would play so well. Dude honestly never gives up on a play. You could tell with all our 2nd chance opportunities.

The thing about Beverley is that he helps with the team's energy. When you see a guy fighting hard, you can't help but do it yourself. This is human nature. And it's why people talk about "energy guys" in the NBA. It's a long game, long season, gotta keep up the energy through it. Hayes was the last time on the team where I felt this way. Always easy to root for.

Yup, it was contagious and I completely agree. Carl Landry was the last one I remember (more so than the chuck waggon). His energy was one of the biggest proponents of the streak.

When I say 'perfect', I really mean, BLOW THEM THE HELL OUT.

The win was never in doubt, but if only Lin got his crap together, it could have been that much more of a 'statement' win.

I disagree. I think Landry was exciting, but he wasn't a hustle guy like Beverley and Hayes. Those guys lay it out on the court. If you're not trying when playing with those guys, you feel like you're letting the team down. Hayes and Beverley has that kind of effect. I don't really see it for Landry. Landry's more like Terrance Jones. Just a very exciting player to watch.

Lowry was a major energizer in Adelman's last season with us.

Things went sour the following year between him and McHale.

I'm thinking you don't know what pretentious means.

True. Unfortunately his energy level dropped off after his minutes/usage rose(not his fault) and his attitude following injury really overshadowed the days when he was a wrecking ball.

Guess I'm not too much of a believer in Beverley. I think he's an energy/loose ball guy, but I don't think he brings real skills as a starter. As a guy off the bench, he has some value. Defensively, vastly overrated.

Jackson owned Beverley in that series, especially the last 2 games. The only thing he did to Westbrook was run into his knee.

This is getting old. PB is still a young player and he will get better. Same goes for Lin. Hopefully both can get better if Rockets wants to make noise in the playoff.

    Welcome Back PBev!

I will say that Lin is indeed more talented than PBev. However, PBev is the guy who has more energy, more mentally strong, and more confident. Bev just never gives up and gives his all every time.

Lin seems to have problems in his confidence, his spirits, his energy which is really affecting his recent play. And I would want the two to continue to work with each other so that they may learn.

ANd I hope for Bev's continued health so that he may have more playing time.
