Great game tonight, you could feel the excitement inside the Toyota center tonight, it's been awhile since I saw the fans loud and supporting the whole game.

I'm guessing you're referring to the Bulls Lakers? I just want to say the Bull are not only in the "Playoff Race", but also a very comfortable 6th seed.

Yes, I know it's a technicality due to the East being East, but it is technically true.

Dwight: I told DMo to work hard, stay patient-- and maybe look for opportunities in practice to knee guys in front of you in the rotation in the thigh.

 

1) Lin made a lot of bad decisions tonight. I'm not saying it was his worst game or anything, but he kind've stuck out as not holding up his end in my opinion.
2) why in the world give Brewer and DMo the ball for 3? sounds like a bad plan.
3) yes, sometimes Harden could've played better. Half the time his man was open and would hit a wide-open 3....over and over he makes bad defensive decisions. However, he DID play BETTER with his minutes than Lin, so...yeh, they both could've played better.
4) All I did was point out a statistic. Those other players had to play with each other too, yet they all finished +, just saying. I don't dislike Lin, however I do wish he played smarter and more consistently.

 

When Chandler is in the groove, the Rockets play really beautiful BB. Loved to see Casspi going for the offensive rebounds and his passes are becoming really nice. Overall, when Chandler is hot, the team is moving the ball and good things happen. This was a quality win - plain and simple.

 

oh man LOF are not going to like the inside track from Mchale congratulating Bev.. they are not going to like that at all...

 

Haha as if we didn't know who McHale favored before, we sure as hell know now. He was so damn happy with Bev back. I don't think I've ever seen him interact with Jeremy like that before.

 

When Casspi's shot is falling, he seems to pick up the rest of his game. Wish he was more consistent. Chandler? What can you say. He was amazing.

 

It was sweet, I guess -- but I'm not sure I like him calling Bev "boy" like that.

 

Great win. I almost died when Dwight almost took that 3. You can tell he wanted to but was like nah, I might get benched….lol

 

Maybe it means he needed to play less minutes with Lin?

When he and Lin were sharing the court, the Rockets were -15 in 18 minutes. We were +20 in the 23 minutes he was on the floor without Lin, and +8 when Lin was on the floor without Harden (7 minutes).

 

Bev and dmo are enegizer bunnies.

Sure. Harden and Dwight are bona fide superstars. TJones is a great player. When Chandler, Casspi and Bev/Lin are into it, the Rockets really look like a deep playoff team. The team gets balanced and intelligent, when those guys are in the game. A superstar can always play hero-ball and keep the team hanging in there, but when this balance kicks in, the team gets hard to stop by anybody in the league. I'm encouraged.

 

It is not a hard science. Basketball is after all a team sports:grin:

 

It's always a good night when we beat the Blazers.

 

Why are we so obsessed with +/- in one game? It is just not a good indicator of who is playing well with who in long term. Basketball is a team sport. A win/loss is a team win/loss.

 

The perfect PG = Brooks 3pt shooting + Lin's passing + Bev's D
