I actually think you're correct about some of this. However THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WHATSOEVER WITH HOMOSEXUALITY. You're looking at homosexuality as having to do with sex...it does not! It has to do with love. As a matter of fact, Lesbian couples statistically have the LEAST amount of sex of any couples (m/f, m/m, m/f). BY THE WAY, THINGS LIKE CHILD MOLESTATION, p*rnography, PROSTITUTION, AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING HAVE A MUCH HIGHER PERCENTAGE OF ABUSE IN THE HETEROSEXUAL COMMUNITY. The average child molester is a middle-aged white heterosexual male. The problems you are mentioning are much more likely to occur in the HETEROSEXUAL COMMUNITY than the gay community.
Santiago at least is looking for solutions. The rest of you simply are trying to score cheap political points. You don't really care if certain segments of society are trapped in poverty for decades to come, you simply care about winning some foolish short term political game.

There exists a struggle today between Hollywood and the liberals' vision of morality and the Church's vision of morality. Today Hollywood and the liberals are winning the war in the media and in popular culture. It's so glamourous to want to pursue women, drugs, parties. Sin and sexual deviance are being promoted. Sexual promiscuity is encouraged. Homosexuality is encouraged. Abortion is encouraged. Immediate sexual gratification from prostitution, internet p*rnography and from adulterous relationships no longer have the negative stigma that they once did. The advancement and promotion of the homosexual movement is just one more step towards the deterioration of the family. Where is this path leading us? Ask yourself that question. It's destroying our society. It's leading to pain and suffering, death, sexual slavery, destruction of families, endless cyles of poverty. It's obviously not leading to happiness or spiritual satisfaction. Why are we letting our society go down this path?

I guess you need it broken down for you: 1. When a society places its priorities around sex, it leads to the destruction of a society. Look at the movies today, look at television, look at the incredible proliferation of p*rnography on the internet. Our society is dangerously addicted to p*rnography and deviance. Sex sells across all industries. It's destroying families. It's leading to record levels of human trafficking and prostitution, enslaving young women all over the world. It's leading to disease and ultimately premature death. It's leading to record levels of children born out of wedlock and to single parents -- dramatically decreasing the odds for that child to succeed in life. First, he's equating p*rnography and deviance- newsflash, p*rnography is both heterosexual and homosexual. Second, when he mentions, "children born out of wedlock," it directly contradicts his contention that the problem with homosexual marriage is that they can't procreate. 2. It's also leading to record levels of abortions, taking the life of babies and permanently damaging the psyche and emotional health of young women. Again- you don't want abortions? Champion gay marriage! 3. This is where sexual perversion and immorality leads us, as a society. 73% of black babies are born out of wedlock and to single parents -- is it any surprise that this racial demographic is stuck in the poverty trap, despite being in the wealthiest country on earth? Newsflash- more white people than black people live in poverty- percentages don't matter, in terms of sheer numbers, white people outdistance black people in poverty. Regardless, exactly what the hell does that have to do with gay marriage? 4. When America begins to take mature, healthy approaches to sexuality and family values is when we can start healing our broken country. The formula is quite simple -- invest in two-parent households with a mother and a father. Instill values of humility, shared respect, obedience and work ethic. It is a shame that instead of pursuing this proven strategy for a healthy lifestyle, so many Americans pursue the false idols and perils of sexual immorality. It's done. That's what you right-wing, oxygen-deficient-from-the-neck-up conservatives don't get. Many of you want our society to suddenly become one in which homosexuals repress who they are and become heterosexuals. You'd like nothing more than to buy homosexuality forever and wish it would go away. But it's not. The floodgates have opened, and they're staying open permanently. You can't change people. You can't force homosexual individuals to be something they're not, and they're certainly not going to not "out' themselves- we're past that. What you all need to be working on is how to include this group within your philosophy or at least allow them the rights that heterosexuals do while personally viewing their lifestyle however you wish. Because denying them rights will only work for so long. The best solution, which anyone with half a ******** brain has realized by now, is that you allow them the right to marry because there is no place in a multi-religious society for you to legislate your specific religious beliefs. But ultimately it won't matter what you people think. Gay marriage will be law in all 50 states soon enough.

Actually the majority are under 30 and starts at 15. On race and sex you have to look at those are the numbers reported. 90% of molesters are family, caregivers or family friends. The child being white greatly enhances the chance the abuser is white. Minorities also under report crimes like this. You are also talking about the USA. The worldwide average is probably a 25 year old chinese male. Your link says nothing of heterosexuality and children are asexual. Don't see how you can back that up.
