Just posted this in the twitter thread, but I'll drop it here --

Friedman said DMo will likely get the start if T. Jones can't go. I hope I'm wrong, but I could see LMA baiting him into very early foul trouble.

It doesn't seem that bad. Otherwise they wouldn't have said it's a game time decision.

LMA is masterful at such things.

Yup, and DMo is generally foul-prone anyway. Not good, considering we need him at the 4 and for some backup 5, presuming Smith hasn't been miraculously healed. I don't want to be overly pessimistic, but uh.... yeah. :(

I mentioned Howard because we don't have another backup for him if TJones, Asik, and Greg (aka majority of our big guys) are out. Unless the master plan is to out pace Portland with extreme small ball.

    Damn! ****! $#@&^!
And he was so great the other night! So focused!

Why do those things keep happening to this team???

The truth is I have a clue - no other team in the league plays their starters for so many minutes in regular season... :(
We should take some lessons from the Spurs...

D-Mo makes sense, Casspi is not cut out at the 4, he's a three more than anything. No back-up PF is a serious problem. Brewer needs to get playing time to go at Matthews and co.

Maybe Covington could see some minutes against Freeland or Robinson at 4.

To be fair, he took a knee to the thigh in practice. Not really something playing fewer minutes could prevent.

Is this the same hit he took with parsons a couple of weeks ago and just reaggreverated it?

Or is it a different knee / different part of the knee?

I think he and Parsons hit knee to knee a couple of weeks ago, but I guess only Parsons' knee was affected. This time, someone else's knee collided with Jones' thigh. He says he isn't sure whose knee it was.

Is there something in the Houston water? Good grief, one player finally returns, the hottest player on the team leaves. How many times has this happened this season? Why do Houston sports teams set records with injuries, year after year, decade after decade. Fire all the conditioning coaches, wear pads, something!

Thanks kutey, the more tweets that surface the more it seems DMo is starting.

This is becoming quite the coinincence hat all of Dmo's main games are being showcased on national tv
