Truth is, we don't play either style well. And we need to be good at both.

Can the team just focus on playing defense first? Never mind the scoring for a while. We have enough options on offense for now. Can we get everyone, incl. Harden, shore up the defense first?

    I agree

I agree with you, and this team is much easier to root for since the mcgrady and yao days

Easy for you to say..... then McHale would be kicked out after the first time outs in your 'Get out if it's getting too hard' fashion

It is important to grind it out no matter how difficult this team is to root for.

It's frustrating cuz it always seems like "we're so close next year will be the year" now, kinda like the Tmac and Yao days. When we had that first game 7 against Dallas, we were all torn up about that series, but things looked like they would definitely go our way after.

However, I really do think this team will be contenders next year :) . I hate the fact that I have to wait but there is no way around it.

We're definitely not getting past the first round this year, but we will be able to let Mchale go after the season, and add to our roster and fix some things up. Jones harden bev and parsons are all young.

Generally it's easier to root for an underdog team which wins because it plays with heart and as a team then a star-studded lineup which wins simply because on individual talent and ISOs.

I think it's easy to root for this team, we score at an amazingly high level and shoot a ton of threes which gets me out of my chair doing the Garcia or harden celebration 3 point sign around the room. Whenever tjones or dwight gets a minster dunk or block I'm gonna start doing the KD "get off b!tch".

Imagine trying to support some of the tanking teams in the east who you know are tanking but still can't draft/devolp any prospect. The moreyball is also a cool aspect of the rockets for me.

This is the easiest rockets team to root for me in a while

OP has mistaken hard to root for 'hard to watch'. This team has not put 120 point games like last year.

Well it is relatively ok to root for but hard to watch at times.

Done. Watched, literally, every game from 01 to 12. Made personal friends with many Rockets but . . . I'm done.

Can't even watch the local games anymore. Been paying for an illegal feed.

Done. Not paying to watch heartbreak.

I've had no problem with rooting for past teams, since we had some toughness, leadership, unselfish players and at least a few hustle players. Now, we have talent all around but no leadership, soft as tissue, very few hustlers and no coach.

I think this team is very easy to root for. They do play in houston right?

By the way, after watching postgame interviews I like the way harden responds to losing more than the way lin and howard respond. Lin seems WAY too flustered and dwight seems like he sulks.

Credit where credit is due. Harden actually have effort on the defensive end. I seen him squat low and put his hands out on a couple of possessions. Good to see

    McHale should be fired.

He is the GM with 7years first round exit within 8 years making into Playoffs.

And HOU is a team that have 5years first years 1st round exit.

    This combo won't work.

If anyone see his post history(i don't have this privilege),when he registered and then his two reputation bars, will understand why GARM has been made like that.

you haven't seen enough of Harden if this is the first time you see him showing up for defense

This year definitely isn't as much fan as last year.

    1. We are no longer underdogs
    2. We didn't grow like Indiana did but rather like the Heat ($$$)

Still cool watching the team gel, but definitely lost some of its fun.

It's the exact opposite actually. I've seen just about every game this year and i tend to watch harden on and off the ball.
