How is that relevant? I remember a few years back everyone talking up Mark Sanchez's "playoff record". It's a team stat that says little to nothing about any individual player no matter who they are.

Compare individual players with individual accomplishments, not team accomplishments.

Rodgers and Brees also didn't have defense that caught lightning in a bottle

I'm not comparing individual accomplishments (stats, etc). I'm comparing their team's accomplishments with those individuals leading them.

I know, you should be comparing individual accomplishments, instead you are talking about team accomplishments, that was my point. Listing W/L record tells you nothing about any individual QB, it tells you about his team.

Green Bay's defense actually did catch fire in the playoffs when they won the chip.

And when you have $100 million invested in a QB he may not have a strong of a team around him so it's up to that QB to make up for the weaknesses on the team which are usually on defense.

Yes EndWorld it is a big difference. That's why I was saying if you don't have A TEAM _ it doesn't matter who your QB is unless you have one of the GREAT TRULY ELITE QBs and it isn't many of those...

Again, none of that is relevant when comparing 2 QB's. You can bring up salary and the composition of the team, but it won't help you figure out which is the better QB. The better QB is the better QB no matter what team they are on, no matter what the composition of the team is, no matter how much he makes.

Agreed, there aren't many of those. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers. End of list. Even having one of those guys isn't enough all the time.

You said in response to a problem of height that Manziel would face in the pros, Bridgewater would have the same problem. Bridgewater is at least 3" taller than Manziel, maybe 4". I don't see how he could have the same problem Manziel has looking over the line. But I won't argue with you about it.

By the way I do give you credit for saying some of the things you say and then continually trying to defend your position until it becomes defenseless. I am not sure what your motive is? Do you really believe everything you say?

    Just Tom and Payton.. IMO...

Rodgers and Brees aren't on the same level as them. Bress can't play outside and Kaepernick sent Rodgers home two years in a row in the first round and he was pedestrian this year as well. Maybe in time but as of now their credentials aren't on par with theirs to be mentioned in the same breath.

Yeah... manziel isn't 6'1. He might be 6 feet on a good day.

Manziel 6'1", seriously? That would be a shock to me. He looks closer to 5'11".

And I give you credit with your stance you take on Bridgewater... And I also give you credit for being a hypocrite when Bridgewater is all you talk about.

But the quarterback issue is a hot topic around here so it doesn't bother me but apparently it bothers you.

The Sanchize sent Brady home 2 years in a row....Then again, that's irrelevant just like Kaep "sending Rodgers home" since it's just pointing out team accomplishment.
