Clyde and Worrel need to go!

I'm so freakin annoyed that I'm going to watch home games with the sound off!

Clyde worships TJones and Bev (and Harden). Never says one bad thing about those guys, always support, always praise. Of course there is nothing wrong with having favorite players, but Clyde doesn't know how to be subtle. Bill has favorite players too, you can tell that he does, but he goes out of his way to hide the fact. As a professional you have to be, well, professional.

The difference between Clyde and Bill is that Bill has rhythm and good timing, and actually has facts, real basketball facts. Clyde is too mellow yellow for broadcasting, I have to be on mar1juana to enjoy Clyde.

Why do you think they call him Glyde? I can't bring myself to say anything bad about the man.

When ever possible , I select to watch the game with opposing team 's commentator.

I don't know which is worst , clyde's homerism or worrel butt kissing clyde and talking about his glory days.

Not really. Clyde gives off the appearance that he shows up 5 minutes late to work, unprepared.

I love Clyde as a basketball player and he is one of my favorite sgs of all time but he is not a good commentator. I would much prefer Bullard whose one flaw can be homerism.

Clyde Drexler brings up memories. I can't hate him.

I can't blame him for loving terrance jones. Clyde Drexler had a lot to do with Portlanders playing basketball.

You must not have been following the Rockets during the Worrell/Calvin years.... One of the most entertaining AND insightful duos in the history of NBA broadcasting.....

The other stuff are funny. But this one may actually be correct(especially if you count Asik). It's not as if the Rockets have a rich tradition of a deep bench. I know it was pretty mediocre during Hakeem's days and downright horrible during T-Mac/Yao era.

He's praised Parsons, Howard, and Harden too. He praises good players. Something wrong with that? He's also praised Aaron Brooks quite often.

I like Clyde and Worrell well enough, but if we could somehow steal away JVG from ESPN...
