I just finished season 2 of this and I guess from reading all the comments here, I'm the only one who loved it...
I actually loved season 2.... Great memories of watching that every night once I got off school... I was taking late classes so I wouldnt get home untill 9:30 at night but when I did.... Ooooooh man it was American Horror Story time every thursday.... Cant wait for the new season.... The third season will take place in New Orleans and will deal with witches and witch hunts. Many of the actors from the past two seasons will be back for season 3. Also, Kathy Bates of the movie "Misery" will also star this season. Sounds very promising.
Has anyone been following? I have missed the entire 3rd season and started getting curious about it... Is it any good?
Yes I'm caught up. The third season is alright, still think the first is the best. I'm just tired of seeing the same people in different roles. Season 3 seems too pro-feminine to me, which is very annoying.
I've been keeping up with it, and I've been mildly underwhelmed. After loving the first season and finding the second season very good as well, this season has been merely okay for me at best. It's worth watching, but not addicting like the other two seasons were for me.
Wow, kinda surprised by the lukewarm reaction to season 3. I've LOVED this season, almost as much as season 1 (which will be hard to top), and far more than season 2, which had a great setting but tried to do too much and couldn't really wrap things up very well. I like that you've had some cast members back from previous seasons, but also an infusion of new actors too. Angela Basset and Kathy Bates have been killing it this season (no pun intended).
Whoa... Those are really mixed reactions...Looks like I'm watching episode 1 tonight...Where are yall watching the episodes from? Hulu and Netflix don't have it .... After reading yalls thoughts I really want to get into it now lol...
I like it so far. Something different from past two seasons. Not so scary like the first one. Angela Basset has been AMAZING.

Just finished the first season. Thought it was excellent, though I was a bit disappointed with the final scene. Spoiler I wish Constance would have started sobbing when she saw what the baby had done, and as the picture faded away, we would hear a gunshot ring out. Anyways, how do the next seasons compare to the first one? Thanks.
I thought 1 and 2 were great, with a slight edge to 1 being a little better, maybe, but not by much. Sadly, Season 3 just hasn't been nearly as good IMO. They're always fun to watch, though.
I can't wait... for some reason Evan Peters is my favorite character in season two..Jessica Lange is so good she is scary at times
I think there's more people that would agree with you and than they would with me. I hear a lot of people say they didn't enjoy Season 2 that much, so that's not surprising. I've just found this season to have way too many pointless episodes/storylines that haven't lead anywhere. Season 2 had those as well, but this season more so, IMO.
I didn't see seasons 1 or 2 but season three is great. Its a reserved wine and cheese night for my girl and me. All those seemingly pointless storylines are being brought together towards the end of the run. I'm really enjoying it.
