go talk to a doctor, and tell him that.

get a prescription to Concerta or Aderol.

Yes, you could possibly be diagnosed as having ADD. The solution, like the rest of life's problems, is drugs. I have been on Adderall since last October. It helps, when I take the recommended dose instead of abusing it. It took me awhile to figure that out. ;)

Haha...yeah the drug abuse isn't always the best. Anyhow... I need to go to the doc to see what they say and maybe try it out some drugs for awhile.

So what are your eating and sleeping habits?

Is your life full of drama all the time?

Well I've tried to change my eating habits since I have started working out. I try to space out my meals throughout the day instead of eating one big meal. It helps my energy level when I workout. So my eating habits are getting better. The types of food I eat is still not the best, but I try eat a can of tuna fish a day since it is very high in protein.

My sleeping habits currently are crap. I have been staying up all hours of the night trying to get this paper done and studying done. Now you are probably thinking, well that is why the moron can't concentrate because he ain't sleeping right. Well that would seem logical however when I am more alert I have more problems with concentrating. Like when I was writing this paper I would get going on it and then suddenly I would want to go do something else or go walk around or whatever. Its like an impulse that I can't control. Whenever my mind has figured out what I need to do its basically like "Ok now that we have figured out what to write then we can go do something else" When this impulse comes its like I have to seriously fight it so I can continue to work. When I say fight I mean like FIGHT it...its like having an itch I have to scratch. I will be telling myself over and over again "Ok damnit stop doing this and get back to work!!" This impulse seems to actually decrease the more tired I get, however if I am too tired then I can't get anything done because I am falling asleep. Like right now I am moderately tired and I have been working a pretty good pace before I decided to take a break to eat. Also, this impulse decreases whenever I know I have to get something done soon. However, that is what I am trying to avoid. I am trying to get out of that situation where I have work myself to exhaustion to catch up. So if the issue is not pressing to me at the time I get distracted much easier. Also, I have noticed that when I study I need some noise and activity around me to keep me going. Tonight I was up in the stacks of the PCL library on the UT campus and its basically dead quiet and no activity, something that most people would consider a great study environment. However, when I was trying to study there its like it was too quiet and my mind kept wandering off and I ended up getting close to nothing done. So I left and went to Metro, a coffee shop across from campus. They were playing music there and stuff and I could get much more work done. Its like I need other things around me to keep me going, but not too much. When I went there tonight...around 3am or so...there was not a ton of people there, but enough activity for me so I did not have my mind wandering off thinking about stuff that was not relevant to what I was studying. If there is too much activity and too many things going on then I can't get as much done, because I am constantly looking around at other people and anything I see move out of the corner of my eye. I have tried to work to control this impulse, but it is extremely difficult. It is like having poison ivy and not scratching it.

Anyhow...I just set up an appointmen to get tested for ADD, so I will let you guys know.

So what kind of doctor do you go to in order to be tested for ADD? I have similar problems and want to get tested, but not sure where to start.

I just told you, weren't you paying attention!?

    Sorry, too easy.

On a serious note, I don't know, but best of luck.
