The discussion is why Casspi didn't play in the second half. What hot group do you refer to? Or did you forgot to add the word 'garbage'?

This team seems to be bipolar, or something, what kind of fits with the moodswings on CF...

This exactly why we need to go after Rondo. He would have been going nuts on the court last night and holding guys accountable for their poor play. Harden and Howard don't have that type of personality

    Riding??

We were definitely NOT riding any more scoring single-digits-per-quarter!
It doesn't take 24 min to realize that "Houston, ..." (You know the rest).
There was nothing to lose (and everything to gain) by making changes
when "The ball got way too stagnant".

Don't get me wrong: I was deliriously happy when D-Mo got hot!
I loved the way D-Mo et al took this game our way in the first.

But now, all that will be left of the great job they pulled out is this sad
losing end-game that set a historic record for a drop between 2 halfs

    ( 7 3 : 1 9 )

    ...

This team isn't winning anything with mchale as the head coach. He's simply not a good enough coach.

tough pill to swallow, but you know up by 14 OKC is making a run to tie it. you know that in halftime.

no adjustments by McHale= demoralizing loss

that will taste bad all season long

I woke up this morning & it still hurts. It's pretty cold in Miami right now for once & all of my sweatshirts, jackets, & hoodies are Rockets related. Nope. Wore a flimsy long sleeve because in my heart I know no one on the planet should walk out of their house representing the Rockets today. Absolutely no one, they don't deserve it. Not today, today is a funeral.

Sportcenter even updated all my friends last night on their phones as if it wasn't enough.

The Rockets not only lost lethargically, they embarrassed every Houston Rockets fan, GLOBALLY.

Better get a whole new team cause NONE of them are starters after watching that second half.

simply put - we need McHale, Howard and Harden to take accountability.

McHale is the coach - no question why he shouldnt be blamed.

Harden and Howard - They are the highest pay players on the team, they are the leaders of the team. They need to fire their team up and set the tone.

You can only blame the coach or other players so much, its ultumately the leaders on the floor to get the tempo and make adjustments with each other.

This team will not win anything the way it is constructed. Awful coach who cannot make adjustments or run plays when the going gets tough

Below average starting PG who freezes against big teams all season....

    Poor defenders everywhere...

bwhahahahah you pulling the plug already, wow. That makes no sense, didn't Howard lead the Magic to the finals. You can build around him and Harden, we just need the right coach in place to do so Rip.

Lin is the only PG who has to *call* for the ball start of every possession

Last season he really focused on getting people open looks

Now nobody is doing that anymore

It's deeper than Coach Mchale, even though he needs to be replaced. The problem is the assumption we can win a championship rushing the ball up court forcing 3's without taking midrange shots. This is what Daryl Morey wants, and it's not working. 3rd most efficient offense? GTFOH with those stupid talking points. Morey needs to bring in George Karl and LET HIM COACH.

Stop trying to dictate the offense from the skybox:mad:

the reason we lost this game was we really were not playing that well, apart from a scoring spurt late in the second quarter that got us the half time lead, we were poor on defence and the threes kept us close with the Thunder

pass first PGs will not be the solution if the coaches are unwilling to take the ball out of Harden's hands. the only type of guards that may flourish beside Harden are the John Paxson/Steve Kerr types, heady, catch and shoot guards who are coldly accurate.

even beverley looks more like a fill in whether he is starting or not.

if "brighter waters" are indeed ahead, it's on the coaches to make better use of whatever talent they have on hand, whether currently or in the future. IMO, the only players being maximized are Parsons and Harden. And they are being maximized to the extreme and might actually hurt them and the team in the long run.

Add our SG who freezes against big teams all season.
Your Haren cannot get one single pts on second half.

    Haren? Seriously. STFU you LOF

Harden pretty much carried the Rox against the Spurs both games.

Lin has not had one big game against a quality team all season.
