NO WAY! San Antonio turns into a different team when they make the playoffs.

Watching a tanking team play is the most awful thing to do.

Only time I support tanking is to try and get out of mediocrity by scoring a high pick.

Yes, because losing all of your last games is such a great way to go into the playoffs.

I'm fine with whoever in the first round so long as it isn't the Clippers.

GS or Portland would be great

If we can calibrate to face a team that we have a proven record of being able to beat - even if it is the Spurs, who will turn things up a notch in the playoffs - then I say do it. The Clippers have our number, I don't want to play them in the first round. As does OKC. The West is looking to be very close, and a couple of games might make the difference in those last 3 or 4 slots.

I think it would be worth it. Advancing to the second round is more important than getting home court in the 1st - and then getting booted against a team that knows how to play us.

I am tired of first round exits.

And where is this "disciplined Rockets team" that you speak of? I don;t think we've met these fellows yet.

The same place where Santa Claus and the tooth fairy reside.

    Good matchups:

    Portland
    Warriors

    Not so good matchups:

    Spurs
    Clippers

    Really bad matchups:

    Thunder

I'd put the Spurs in between. No, ideally, no one wants to play them first round, because they will turn it on. But we have beaten them twice at home. We obviously present problems for them.

But yeah, preferably Portland or GSW.

Er, their home... on the road (Spurs) - another reason I'd rather play them.

Yea its not so much that the Spurs are a bad matchup. I think the Rockets matchup well against them. Its just that they are just the best or 2nd best team in the WC and Popovich will definitely coach circles around Mchale.

Rockets really need to think about the tank now.

There is no way Rockets will make any noise this post season. Rockets are only 4 games ahead of #9 in the west. One late season collapse (which will surely happen)will make Rockets out of top 8. Why not shut it down and tank from now on? Rest Parsons to drop his value. Rest Harden. Showcase Asik and Lin. Develop Howard, Dmo and Jones. And the lottery pick is very valuable.

26-15, and you are talking about tanking?

Even if we were to tank at this point, there is no way we could out tank the Bucks, and others. Silly. Too late to tank.

LOL...now I'm down on this team right now but from the looks of a lot of your post, it appears you're mainly trolling, lol.
