Harden seems to go god mode at AT&T center, no idea why but it's been a recurring nightmare for the spurs.

That's what everyone thought last year, and then they swept the Lakers and Grizzlies. Beating the Spurs in a couple of regular season games means nothing.

We'll play them in the second round, so there's no reason to tank for seeds.

Yes. Lose on purpose to play San Antonio.

Do people even respect legit basketball anymore. Who wants to tank? In a sense it's almost cheating to lose on purpose to gain some type of advantage.

We have to play every game with our heart on our sleeve.

You play with fire, you may get burned. Few western teams can afford tanking.

tank for the 8th seed, are you kidding?

a disciplined Rockets team can beat the Clippers at home or on the road in a playoff series.

No. This will backfire and give SAS more motivation to kick our a$$. However, Morey is all about numbers so this is a real possibility.

Lets use some stats. Clippers are historically bad in playoffs. Spurs are historically great in playoffs. The last team we want to play against is the Spurs.

Uh, no. Here's a crazy thought. Do everything possible to get the 2nd best record in the West. It's doable too. The Clippers are only a game ahead(thanks a lot, Mavs!) and are still missing Paul. The Thunder are only 4 up in the loss column and are still missing Westbrook. And the Blazers are only 5 up in the loss column and are about to enter a brutal stretch where they play the Spurs, Rockets, Mavs, Thunder, and Golden State on the road for 5 out of their next 7.

SAS is a different team in playoff. They are far more experienced and Pop is just too much for McHale to handle.

Nothing is gained from losing purposefully.

You could tell the Spurs were taking it easy on us during the 2 games we won in S.A. They rested the starters more, and put in bench scrubs like Mills, Ayers, and de Colo. Not gonna be like that in the playoffs, they will be a much tougher team to beat. Popovich is saving the team's health and energy for when it really matters. He's not like McHale who burns out Harden and Parsons every night trying to scrap for wins against bad teams.
