Luckily, GSW has a tough schedule ahead. They play OKC, Indy, Clips, and Portland over the next 2 weeks. NOLA, Wolves and Wiz are in that mix too.

 

True, I really really hate the Clippers, I would rather play GSW in the first round.

 

One of the N.O. Pelicans announcers said Asik has the "Blue Flu" ... and then the other announcer giggled like a little girl.

Seriously though, we need an in game coach type of a player. Harden, and Dwight aren't one of them types. Maybe Lin and Parssons, well they will not be as good as Rondo or Mark Jackson in these situations but at least i think they have that urge to coach a bit.

 

Not too late to put on a win streak.

We have a 5 games homestand coming up. NO is close to Houston so I think we have a good chance of beating the Thunder tomorrow even being a B2B game.

 

Morey should have traded Omer Asik, over the summer when he asked to be traded. We could be balling with Brandon Bass and Courtney Lee off the bench right now. Instead Morey tried to yank a 1st round draft pick from a tanking team. Why would a draft lottery team give up their pick ??

Morey didn't handle the situation right, couldn't manage the personalities. He's like the start up company guru who is super smart with ideas ... but ends up losing his employees to other companies, because he can't manage them right.

 

I love me some Murray but you have some valid points. Nobody can be perfect though.

 

Rivers was on Lin, Gordon was on Harden .... Harden intentionally set a pick for Lin which forced the defenders to switch and created the mismatch.

 

Forget seed, think home court. Rockets can still get home court even as the 5th seed, like the Hawks had in 2012 as the 5th seed against the Celtics.

At least that is how I remember it.

 

Gordon wouldn't have games like this if he were on the Rockets. Only in practice, going up against Har-en.

Our defensive rebounding was pretty terrible tonight. Need Jones and Dwight to hit the boards more, though I do enjoy the blocks.

 

That's why you move heaven and earth to get a player like Harden. He just took over. Wow!

2 years, 30 million after this season. And no way, this is brought up after every other SG goes off on this team.

The guy makes Steph Curry look like Cal Ripken Jr. Outside of his 1st season he's been missing massive time with knee issues.

team game everyone has to be on the same page and im a Lin fan which I am its good that he's being vocal and a leader in a game like this that was real close down to the wire

 

Bass and lee for Asik would suck, I would take a chance to get less for him or keep rather than give him up for those two.
All of your Morey can't manage personalities is just speculation. You should be still giving him credit for getting Howard and Harden. The Rockets main problem is a coaching problem, not a gm problem.
