He's my guy.... I'd love to trade down and get him, but I doubt that will be possible.

Cleveland will probably stick with Brian Hoyer if they can't get Johnny. So I think they will draft Sammy Watkins. Bortles will probably drop out the first round if the Texans don't trade back and get him.

Ratings, ratings, ratings...... that is what it is all about for Captain Big Hair and ESPN.

Texans will select Blake Bortles and the meltdown will ensue right then and there.

I should say, if not Teddy Bridgewater, a meltdown will ensue, heh.

I'm done with this franchise! Absolutely done! They will never see another dime from me! I'm done!

Man I really like JFF but I am also aware of the history of QBs like him. I don't know if using a #1 pick on him is smart. However if he is still the top choice 3 months from now after being evaluated more I can find some more faith.

Awwwww my friend.... I don't think the Texans will draft Johnny either. Regardless of how these QBs are ranked amongst each other _ they still have overall low draft grades. And if you noticed _ Mell has other teams that need QBs passing up on Teddy as well _ not just Houston.

Kiper had much higher praise for Jamarcus Russell.

Let's acknowledge that ESPN is going through Tebow withdrawal. They see Manziel as another media star, a player they can endlessly yap about whether he deserves the attention or not. Of course they want him going number one! The expectations! The controversy! The drama! The ratings!

Exactly this is Mel we're talking about here.

I personally don't care what his big board or mock drafts look like even by the end of the combine process he typically still has not clue who will go #1, especially if their is no clear cut #1 ala Andrew Luck a few years ago.

This is the same guy that had Marcell Dareus going #1 overall to Carolina in 2011 and also had Gabbert as well as Locker graded ahead of Cam Newton, who ultimately went #1 overall.

I take all these big board/mock drafts with a grain of salt, unless they've been performed by bonafide NFL scouts/GMs (which will never happen) but with Kiper and McShay I take them with a dozen grains of salt since all it becomes is a d**k measuring contest between the two.

Let's just revisit that for a minute so everyone has a bit of perspective.

I would think Teddy B like a lot of us.

So we're not taking for Manziel for sure now. Kiper is an idiot.

    I'd be good with Manziel

But I'd be happier with Clowney + 2nd round QB

This is the same fool who had us taking bush/young as the #1 pick the last time we were I this situation.
