best point n shoot I could fine, Sony DSC-RX100M2

I went to a Rox vs Knicks game earlier in Nov, took a bunch of horrible shots w/ my HTC one (like 0 zoom)...which encouraged me to buy a nice camera, being in the NYC area...and because of past terrorist activity here, stadium and arena rules are tight when it comes to bags and camera sizes... I've seen a dude get turned away cause he had a Nikon D4... I didn't wanna go through that... so settled on this one, it's smallish and packs a decent sensor size.

Awesome pics!! That's a cool camera man. I got 1st row seats behind Rockets bench when they visit the Kings in Feb. I wanna get the same camera too but it is quite expensive! Thanks for sharing, looking forward to your next thread.

take a look at last year's model rx100, it's generally $150 cheaper w/ the same 1" sensor (yeah still expensive for a point-n-shoot)

cool, that's definitely a much better option for me. Did you have any issues bringing in the camera at all? It's going to my first live NBA game next month, but most of the websites say no cameras allowed inside the arena.

Zero issues. In fact, I'm seeing people with largish DSLRs being let in...I think it depends on the security guard.

had time to upload these last 2 videos:

    <iframe width="853" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Q1b4Xzfv2y0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    <iframe width="853" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/gZ--gSx-TG0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I think one of the videos will be taken down cause it got flagged for copyright blah blah for the background music... so stupid...

Nice. Sony DSC-RX100 is a bit older but it's still such a cool camera. Im just deciding between that and Canon Powershot s110. All comes down to how much moola at the end lol.
