Or If Jones was always looking for a Mid Range J, he wouldn't be in the position to get a crucial rebound or put back...

Ppat rarely had double digit rebounds... and when his jumpers go in, it awesome, but when they don'e he doesnt do much of anything else... he doesn't draw fouls, doesn't grab rebounds, doesn't get blocks...

There's only one guy we need, a true Rockets legend.

People were calling for Scola when Patterson started, for Patterson when Morris started, for D-Mo and Jones at one point, now with finally Jones stepping up, we want Patterson again???

The Rockets have a problem on defense and you want to make the Rockets weaker on defense? Patrick Patterson sucks and isn't a fourth of the player that T Jones is. He is a scrub on a ***** team and T Jones is a star on a top 5 team. This team is fine on offense. Consistency comes from playing both sides of the court.

Oh, it was a joke. I got it, hahahaha or jajajajajaja (since we are in Houston).

Patterson is one of many completely average players that CF has fallen in love with. Good thing we have a smart GM that doesn't and overpays them instead.

PPat is BALLLIN' in Toronto. Huge part of team's success.

That being said, you don't trade T-Jones for him straight up. Terrence has a much higher ceiling.

Once Terrence regains his shooting stroke, he's going to be major. He needs to continue working on the mid-range shot and the 3. He was killing it in Summer League.

Let it go. TJones can't shoot? Patrick Patterson can't rebound or defend or block shots or handle the ball in the open court. He's gone. Let it go. We've upgraded and he wouldn't crack mcHales rotation.

That is false though. True, PPat didn't rebound, defend of block shots in Houston. However, I am not sure if you watched any of the Raptors games recently, but he's doing exactly that in Toronto. Very reliable defense, 9rpg per36 in last stretch which isn't elite, but not terrible either, puts the ball on the floor and creates for his teammates, good effort. He's turning into a perfect stretch 4 player.

I completely agree with you but I doubt anyone here spared the time to watch the recent Raptors games, so don't expect much support for your arguments. 2Pat has been playing like the stretch 4 Houston always wanted.

As of right now, Patterson contributes more to winning than Jones does. That may change in the future, but right now Patterson would make us better.

Lets be honest. Morey has made some ridiculous decisions over the past couple of years.

Getting rid of Lowry was understandable but keeping Asik, trading for T-Rob for Ppatt, not resigning Dragic, overpaying for Lin & the Royce White draft stick out like a sore thumb.

Lets not forget getting bailed out by David Stern in the "basketball reasons" failed trade.
