it makes sense for the black market to switch to more wax.. but theres somethin else about just smoking flowers.. obviously less potent weight for weight but its nice
Eh... I know a guy... who tried some hash oil, not the same thing as weed. WAYYY more intense, he said.
yea its more concentrated.. I know people who take nothing but dabs.. I know of people who swear off it because its the 'crack of weed' to them bottom line is, don't overdo it, or weed will stop being enjoyable at some point
Yea I heard the same too. One of my old roomies told me he took a drop and it was WAYYY more intense, like some LSD **** or something.
The "oil" is what the pain med community is talking about. It approaches narcotics-level relief with no physical addiction and constipation that cancer/spinal injury patients complain about. Who was it in this thread you compared the pain relief power of pot to "cough syrup." So silly. It annoys me when people say THC is addictive when I trying to explain how the body adjusts to narcotics and it stops working because the body stops producing its own pain relief (which is the definition of physical addiction which doesn't occur with THC). can y'all tell heypee is pro-legalization. and i don't smoke anymore for >10yrs
i think the body continues producing its own anandamide and endogenous cannabinoids even if you continually put in exogenous cannabinoids for pain patients and cancer patients, there is no better way to get your dosage besides edibles.. but for recreational and smoke n maintain peeps, please pace yourselves with the dabs.. unless you really know what you're doing
a couple of my friends i used to smoke with have moved onto wax/oils, while i was gone. i visited them while i was in town and tried it, and it was ridiculous. the crack of weed sounds about right. i was pretty much brain dead off 1 hit of the stuff.
no since crack is.. crack and cannabis is cannabis.. nevermind.. but many people function while dabbing daily and they're great at it. So obviously its not crack but most of us its too much
granted if you take enough of it your tolerance will adjust. when i had it, it was the first time in about a month i smoked anything. the crack analogy is overstating it, but it is on another level as far as potency goes. just like the edibles that my guy gets, i eat about a 1/3 of it and i'm good where some people eat the whole thing.
Someone left me this anonymous rep on this thread "please stop posting about things you know nothing about. Its getting annoying. Next thing you will tell us you invented p***y too" Lol what
They must have intended that rep for x110. lulz. It is easy to see the people who really believe Reefer Madness. I have either smoked or been around people who smoke for over 30 years and I can tell you that the crap that the Nancy Reagan acolytes post is a bundle of stupid. Gateway drugs...yeah right. Why arent I dead from heroin yet? Unmotivated and lazy....does that mean I have an excuse not to go to work every day? Cause Im quite sure I have been doing this all wrong....going to work and all that every day. I know one thing, when you have seen folks you know that are helped by the medicinal stuff, you might stop and think that maybe you were wrong. I recommend Sanjay Gupta's "Weed" documentary, pay particular attention to the military guy's young daughter with seizures and how the CBD in pot is the only thing that helps her. That family isnt alone, the same exact story can be found all across the country.
low blow and unnecessary, R2K. I actually predicted that I would be the one accused of giving that rep, but alas, I have been dragged back into the discussion. I have an extensive weed resume, just so you know. for your 30 years I would say I've been in the game for about 20. I'm an advocate for legalization and decriminalization. I was asking REAL questions. HeyPartner is the only one who had any REAL answers about how they are doing it in Colorado. I just don't care about the opinion of some so called weed experts who think they have the chemistry down and they are the responsible ones doing it right or that they know all the latest trends of waxes and dabs and top shelf or whatever. every weed user likes good weed. it's not about the medicinal qualities, though I do recognize them. but I have never met a medical mar1juana "patient" in California. in California, from my direct experience, I have seen dispensaries that were shut down, raided, robbed, and full of shady organized crime activity- Russian and Polish mobs run them out here. if not that, just typical pot users operating and frequenting these places. Bob Marley and Half Baked posters all over the wall. not much of a "medical" vibe going on. it is a giant clusterf*#k with city ordinances trying to shut down about 800 dispensaries and bring that number down to a manageable 135 or so. I have learned plenty in this informational thread- one thing being that I now see why CA couldn't get the legal vote done in 2010 and how Colorado obviously has a better system in place. thanks to HeyP for addressing that. they have no labeling or testing system in place in any of the dozens+ of dispensaries I have seen in California. I will be keeping an eye on CO and seeing if CA can get it together in 2014. Sanjay Gupta recognized in his documentary that 1 in about 9 or 10 mar1juana users can become psychologically dependent on the stuff. why is the whole lazy amotivational thing a stereotype in the first place? I would be embarrassed to be considered a lazy stoner, but one thing I am not trying to do in life is just "function" or "get by"
I saw that. When he admitted to smoking I felt a bit at ease because my parents gave me a lot of **** when they found out I smoked on occasion. I think I've only smoked a handful of times but the whole rap that weed gets is unwarranted.
some people love being content and happy in their place.. it is of no concern some smoke all the time and are more productive than anyone else.. some people smoke and it levels them out to normal.. its up to the user how they make their cannabis experience
I'm very happy that it's starting to get legalized and un-demonized. I enjoyed it for quite some time...I smoked way more than most people that regularly did it I'm sure...but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I'm in a job that randomly tests and does so often. Honestly I feel that I'm more patient and better able to concentrate and learn now that I've stopped, but I still graduated with honors when I was heavily smoking so who knows...to each his own.
