Exaclty, I think a player would identify with Glide better than a couple of letters ("CD") right? Cuz ex. Clyde Drexler had a great leaping ability. CD is just his initials, and nothing else. Harden of course has his beard, that's why we call him "the Beard". Dwyane Wade (in his day) was fast, so we called him flash. Anybody that starts with a D and has his last name can be called D-Wade, so those type of nicknames, for basketball players anyway, are ones I stay away from. That's why I feel the nickname game is garbage now. Back then it was "The Doctor" now it's just "D-Rose". Meh. That's my rant. Oh, and even when it's not just re-arranging their name they come up with absolute garbage like "Swaggy P".
