It's more likely the other way around. Even radical Lin fans, as much as they might want Lin to become the best player in the world, they realize that Harden is the best player on the team. Harden, or Parker, or Curry, or CP3, starting over Lin, won't drive Lin fans crazy, IMHO, simply because they are better players. Well, maybe starting PB, AB, or Tony Douglas over Lin would. That being said, they might still want to vote Lin, simply because they want to see him, while accepting votes from other fans or coaches' pick. However, if for some reason, some mechanism in the all-star voting "picked" Lin over Harden (impossible to me, but just for argument's sake), I will expect the site goes down due to traffic. Disclaimer: I never voted for all-star, and never will, be it LeBron, KD, or JH, or JLin.
James harden Makes third straight 37 point game so people vote for Kobe for making 33 straight non Appearance with his broken body.
LOHs and LOFs both have something in common: They both don't want Lin playing with the Rockets. While Harden is busy padding his stats to try to prove he is an all star, this is the BS Lin has to deal with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjLSlLm2AS0
it doesn't matter who #3 and beyond are when the league decides who will play if injuries affect the game. Why are so many people whining about it? Harden's not a bigger name than Lin globally so it stands to reason he'd be behind Lin. 4th and 5th don't even matter in the big picture. In fact, he'd probably start with Curry. Relax.
Yep harden is leading the team in assists and had 7 last night, but crazy LOF think he is allabout stats.
With the way he is playing, the only participation he could possible have in the all star game is as a floor mopper
I've always thought the same thing, until recently. I now think of it this way. You don't have to be the best to be a "star." E.G. Ashton Kutcher. One of the worst actors I've ever seen, but he's popular and a Hollywood "star." The All-Star game in the NBA has become just like the Hollywood red carpet. It's more of an award of your celebrity and name recognition than your skills necessarily. All-NBA is more of a realistic ranking of the best players in the league.

Plus, many of them vote every single day because they are fanatical (and not in a healthy or good way).
No offense, but that's an absolutely stupid rule from Van Gundy. So, if Wade and Bosh got injured in the beginning of the season, and Miami had a 20-21 record or whatever at the ASG break, LeBron doesn't get in? Absolutely ******** ridiculous.
Why are people upset that some fans vote for Lin? It's NBA's fault for letting everyone around the world vote for All-Stars. Lin is globally liked for whatever reasons. It all depends on your taste and values. There are some Afro-Americans who love Lin because he combines educational values, BB skills and patience, and want their children to view Lin as their role model. Besides, I doubt NBA allows multiple voting by same people, because if they did, Lin would win by a landslide.
Response I personally voted for Parker and CP3 because I think they deserve it, even though I don't like CP3's personality. I never voted before.
You can vote as many times as you want, though some platforms do limit you to one vote per day. One vote per player per day, that is. I use twitter to vote, so if I vote for Harden/Howard/Lin/Parsons today, I can vote for all 4 of them again tomorrow.
