I don't understand how I can have higher basketball IQ than Jeremy Lin...but I do.

We were tanking. Dragic is a winner, and we didn't want that. Same reason we amnestied Scola.

Since Beverley's injury, Lin has averaged 13.2 points, 3.6 assists, 3.1 turnovers, 3.1 rebounds, .66 steals on 42% field goal shooting and 32% three point shooting.

I've defended Lin as much as I can. His first year streakiness and general disappointment I attributed to his adjusting to the role. But halfway into the season and Lin has stayed the same.

He's just not for this system. Maybe in a Pick-and-roll heavy team, with no other guards, he'd thrive, but this just isn't for him.

Morey has to trade him and Asik.

Lin to be really effective needs to dominate the ball. But a Lin-centric team isn't winning a championship. Lin has to adjust and play better.

Nope. Morey was too stubborn and wouldn't give Dragic his extra year. Now we have this mess.

I'm shaking my heads at some of the comments.

In my opinion, very few NBA players are 1-on-1 type of guys, like Harden, Melo, Kobe, who can create their shot in ISO situation... The majority of other guys play within an offensive system, meaning they try to run a team strategy instead of beating the opponent 1-on-1.

Right now, Rockets have no strategy at all; as a result, you just see our guys going 1-on-1 and trying hard to make plays without a definitive purpose a lot of the times.

If you think Lin shouldn't dribble into the lane and pick up the dribble or camping at the 3-point line, TELL HIM WHAT HE IS SUPPOSED TO DO, because you know for a fact that he's getting no **** from McHale in this free-running offense.

Lin looked disinterested in recent games. He is making a case for trading him.

Lin with another horrible game. LOF's can have no more excuses but accept that Lin is a mediocre player with limited upside. 1 assist to 4 turnovers is unacceptable

Played good defense, bad offense. You cant blame everything on Lin for the loss against Hawks. And we alrdy know that he can play better than this or do you think that this is all he can do? 1 assist and 4 turnovers?

TRUST ME! That's about as civil as I can keep it when referring to LIN....He reminds me of another Rocket point guard everyone hated....Allen Level

Disagree. I think he is an above average player if given the green light to run the offense. Unless he can adapt in McHale system, he will continue to have many games like this, since he is playing out of his natural position.

What a ****ing idiot. I was out earlier and just finished watching the game, and how does Lin NOT check to make sure his feet are behind the line? It's not the first time he's done that, but this cost us the game. A starter? Hell, someone has to convince me why we shouldn't trade him to whoever will take his miserable self.

    Jesus Christ.

This is the last contract Lin will sign.....book it! HE DOES NOT WANT TO BE ON THE COURT! I'm telling you, he much rather be any place else than playing basketball, you can tell by his demeanor

That is all if's and but's.

Lin is not good enough to be given the green light to run the offense of any good team. Don't bring up the Knicks. That was a one time thing and the Knicks had no options. Plus teams have figured Lin out now. Lin has to learn to play with the 3 superior players on this team - Harden, Howard and Parsons

Lin is what he is - an average to below average point guard with limited upside and a horrible contract.

    Three guys are worth keeping

    Harden our best player
    Dwight the anchor
    Parsons the glue guy
