You need to invest in whiskey rocks if you like it neat and chilled. Yup. Either way you drink liquor straight or mixed, it's still hard liquor. Doesn't make you Amy less of a man than drinking a pina colada. Just drink what you like. kudos on the ice and scotch. I tend to wait for the ice to melt about halfway before drinking for a cool aroma filled drink myself.
ooouuhhh interesting. need to look into one of those. how long does that iceball typically last and by lasting, how many drinks? also how does one go about inputting images under spoiler tabs?
Depend on how quick I would like to get drunk. Whiskey straight is rough the first few sips, but gets the job done.
Straight, mainly just because i hate the taste of anything with alcohol in it and i would rather get it done with fast.
Scotch's should be mixed with a little bit of water as to mellow out to effects of alcohol on your palate. If you drink something with a high alcohol content, it numbs your tongue. Not only mixing with water dilutes the numbing effect of scotch, it can also allow you to smell more of the bouquet of the scotch.
Whomever repped me for this, the rep says "Do you Prefer Hard, and then my YOLO quote. Very clever, *******. (LOL really)
Your all tripping... ive got like a billion jaeger bomb cups, but sometimes the old school way, is the way to go.
Bourbon - straight Whiskey - straight (If I want a mixed drink with whiskey i'll make a vegas bomb with redbull) Scotch - straight with a few dashes of water so I can actually taste it Cognac - straight Tequila - I can't handle tequila under any circumstances. The taste disgusts me. Vodka - I don't drink this straight anymore. Too many college parties gone wrong ugh. I use whatever. Cranberry, Lemonade, Red Bull (my fav but only do this on occassion), Club Soda, Tonic Water, etc... Rum - lol....rum. Gin - I've actually never drank Gin. Anyone have recommendations?
One of these will typically last 45-60 min(2-3), they melt really slow so ideal for chilling without watering down. I got a trey in my freezer w them but they use this at some of the places I frequent where they press a big block of ice as shown in the pic
