I went to Kenny and Ziggy's the other day for the first time and I ordered the Monte Cristo. The sandwich was okay but I was really disappointed in getting Log Cabin syrup. Seriously, for a fairly expensive restaurant I was hoping for some real maple not some cheap imitation. So it got me thinking about breakfast places and that almost all places offer cheap imitation syrup. The sole exception I could think of was Cracker Barrel. So guys is there any other place in Houston that offers real maple syrup?

Unless they changed it back, Cracker Barrel serves table syrup which is a blend of maple and cane syrups.

I believe Kelley's Country Cooking has maple syrup from Tennessee.

Real syrup has an odd taste to me. Its one of the few things where I actually prefer the hfcs.
